🎉🐾 Happy New Year from Westbrook Green Sensory Dog Park! 🐾🎉

As we welcome 2025, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you and your amazing 4 legged friends!
For making this past year so special, Your support, laughter, and wagging tails have truly made Westbrook GSDP a place we’re proud of!
This year we opened up Gordy’s field in remembrance of our Dad/Grandad Gordon in March, we celebrated 2 years of Wills & Mables field in August named after our Grandparents/Great Grandparents who made this all possible. 💚
And 2025 we have many exciting plans to try and for fill. We are just getting started behind the scenes 👀

To kick off the new year, we’re giving away a New Year Hamper worth £50 as a token of our gratitude! 🎁

Half of the modelling team let us down🤣
But we will let him off with a new sandpit to explore who would want to sit and pose for a photo 🏖️

As you can see we have replaced the ball pit with a new sand pit, we have done this for safety aspects and are looking at upgrades for the old sand pit area further up the field in the near future.

🐾 Dog Park Ball Pit Update in Wills Field! 🐾
We’re doing one last refill for our ball pit before we upgrade it with a new sensory activity. The ball pit has been a blast, but from a safety perspective, we feel it’s time for something different.

We’ve noticed more chewed-up tennis balls and small pieces left behind lately, which can be dangerous for dogs. With this in mind, please remember:

👉 Keep an eye on your pups while they play, especially with tennis balls. If you bring one into the park, please take it home with you, as small pieces can be a risk if swallowed by other dogs. Unfortunately, we’ve found an increasing number of chewed-up balls lately. 😔

As we rethink this space, we’d love to hear your ideas! What kind of sensory play or activity would you like to see here? Drop your thoughts below ⬇️
