As I look ahead to 2026, I want to remind you to book your grooming appointments in advance! To make scheduling easier, I'm offering block bookings.

If you're interested in setting up regular appointments, please message me with your preferred day (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) and the number of weeks you'd like to go between grooms. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

So I have copied and pasted this from a wonderful FB group I am in, the dog belongs to a friends family member so please no negative comments. She is based in Colchester. If you are able to offer this lovely girl a home I can put you in touch.

This young couple are in the most awful position of needing to rehome a 19month old gorgeous Doberman who has done absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever... They have just had a baby, and the dog is delighted and bouncy and big (40kg) and they have realised that they simply cannot cope and keep the baby safe and give the dog all the attention she needs too. She is fully socialised, used to creche days, loves all dogs and all people and has never resource guarded or hurt anyone. She is a pedigree from a reputable breeder, with up to date everything. She is the most loved and cherished dog in the world... and they are in bits, but are doing this because they know that they can't give her what she needs.

Barking Mad @ Hepworth is all about your dog, its care and comfort. We offer luxury boarding and boutique grooming. Treat your dog to a holiday of their own in a lovely converted barn on the Suffolk/Norfolk border with rural walks on the doorstep. We also offer a boutique grooming service from our beautiful converted Sheppard Hut. We use quality products, many of which are organic; paraben and silicon free. We are fully insured and qualified to groom and board your pet - Your dog is our family. About me: I’ve worked in the world of rescue; fostering and rehabilitating difficult dogs for several years. In 2016/17 we rescued and rehabilitated 18 doodles. Some of those dog’s had behavioural issues and were labelled as PTS cases, with care and positive reinforcement those dogs have been rehabilitated and successfully rehomed. I also set up and help run a social group for doodles and their owners where splashing dashing and having fun with our four legged family is the norm. I believe in treating all dogs with kindness and positivity, my background means you are leaving your dog in very good hands.
