The goodest of boys Finn. He’s come on so quickly in such a short space of time.

This was AFTER spending an hour in the stable doing some handling.
Popped him back out in the field and he’s just happy plodding about behind me.

Less than a week since coming out of quarantine and Finn is head collar FREE! 🥰🥹 what an absolute dude!!

To say 6 days ago I couldn’t touch him, let alone put a head collar on him is absolutely amazing!

We still have a long way to go but I cannot wait to see him in 6 months time when he is fearless & trusting 🧡

He deserves the absolute world, what a gorgeous (very big🤣) soul 🥰

Incredibly proud of baby Finn!

Having only ever been in one home since born with his breeders, I think the shock of travelling, the unknown and being taken away from everything he was comfortable with took its toll on this big baby.

Gotta give the big baby credit where it’s due, just a few days out of quarantine is all it has taken for Finn to gain trust with me.
I couldn’t get a head collar on him only 4 days ago and he was so scared of me ‘raising’ my hand to stroke him.

Hence not many updates, I really want to do this boy the most justice so we’ve taken it RIGHT back to the most basic of basics! Starting with practicing head collar being put on & taken off, getting him less head shy and just generally more relaxed in the stable with me.

Fast forward only 4 days! (With 3 of those days being at work ALLLLL day so only spending literally half an hour with him) and wow what a difference! He’s more relaxed, I can touch his head and face without him flinching and get a head collar on and off of him without him being petrified of me!

*Obviously Finn will not be available for the foreseeable until I am completely satisfied I have done the absolute most and best I can do with him and get him to the same ‘laid back’ standard as all of my previous ponies ❤️

Finn & Barney are now in the paddock closest to our barn ready for some handling this week (despite this week being my absolute busiest at work dunno how I’m gonna do it 😂)

Both will be available in the next few weeks once I’ve had chance to get to know them and get some groundwork done 🩶🧡

My very best boy has left today for his new home

To say I am heartbroken is the biggest understatement.
I have done nothing but question my decision to let him go since the second his ad went live!

I could not be happier with the new family he is going to and my heart is going to take forever to heal… But putting my feelings aside, the fairest thing for him to do was go have fun and go places with someone who has the time ❤️‍🩹

I have had the most amazing 4 years teaching him as much about life as possible and I am excited to watch him go off and enjoy his ridden life now ❤️

Here he is, now rising 7 and just starting to learn to jump!
Anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely all about taking it slow with the babies, so I couldn’t be prouder to show him off and say a huge shoutout to his family for never ever pushing or rushing him 🖤

Slow and steady wins the race and they both look like winners to me 🥰

“hi chloe i am so pleased with murphy at the moment he is jumping amazing and today he just topped it off. we went to aintree not long ago and qualified for the blue chip championships and yesterday we came down to buckinghamshire to stay over and compete in the morning. murphy has been on top form. here is the video of him from the jump off round. in the end he came 3rd in the pikeur novice pony winter championships out of 110 competitors🤩 xx”

Only the second time since November he’s been lunged… picked up right where we left off and even got to lean over him from the mounting block too… alone! And not a peep from him.

Oaty & Chester are now on the same yard.. I can’t cope with the cuteness 🥺 2 truly beautiful boys 🤍🤎

Chester is enjoying some baby time in the field and has been turned away until after Christmas when his advert will be up 🥺🤍 Currently happy living out with his besties (sheep) 🐏🐑 *He also knows exactly which pocket Maxima Equestrian mix & munch is kept in 😂

16yo Tutti understood the assignment 😂🙈 Getting 5 horses in means an odd number of trips to and from the field… which my lazy bum couldn’t contend with today 🤣 He even does this without following the others too… always takes himself in to the right stable 🥰

4 soggy babies 🤣 All 4 of them couldn’t wait to come back in to their stables out of the rain today ☔️ 🥰

Very productive activity this afternoon- Child rides scooter up and down the barn burning energy for bedtime while also de-sensitising 3yo Chester with noise, sudden movements and child proofing 😂🙆🏼‍♀️

3yo Chester had his first ever clip today too 😍 He was such a good boy ⭐️

Bath day can only mean one thing… it’s almost clipping day!!! 🥳 ✂️ Shadows first ever clip … here’s hoping he’s as chill for clipping as he is for being bathed by my 4yo daughter 🤣🤎

Went on holiday and left a pony… came home to a hairy yeti 🤣🫣 Chester resembles the honey puffs monster 👹 So nice to be home and back with my boys who are now all in over night for winter… presuming this is Chesters first winter stabled overnight and he’s been a dream over the last 3 weeks 🫶🏼🥰

✨ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭 ✨ 6yo Cian (was Merlin) with 9 year old rider, Amy 🥺 If this doesn’t show how genuine connies are then I don’t know what does! Cian was bought by Amy’s mum from me as a newly backed 3 year old and to see him progress on to looking after tiny riders is just the best feeling 😍 I will honestly never ever get tired of seeing my previous ponies and their updates!
