Well done again to the winners, and to all the teams who took part. It was a brilliant weekend once again and we hope to see you all back, and more, next year!

Before the scores go up, I just want to say to the person who took, a dummy launcher, Electronic ear defenders and starting pistol from one of our tents while our back was turned you are the bad one you are the one that spoils a good weekend. You are the one that makes me say why bother trying to make a great event for people and their dogs. Im sure one day you will have something stolen from you and you will think back to when you took from Kirkbourne and hopfully accept that bad things happen to bad people. Im keeping it clean on here but I dont think you are worthy to stand next to honest people.
So sad that next year we will have to ask everyone to stay out of the tents regardles of weather. OR WE JUST SAY thats it we are done. Thanks for spoiling the weekend.

There are other activities running along side the Team competition.
We have a raffle in aid of Cancer Research UK being drawn on Sunday. So really generous prizes to be won.
The Cube Challenge and Long Retrieve each day winning prizes for the faster 3 dogs om the day.
We have Fred & Bert's Coffee serving hot and cold drinks, bacon and sausage sandwiches and delicious cookies and brownies. 🍰🥞🥓🌭

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝘀...we have the fantastic of 📷 with us all weekend capturing the event and wonderful dogs in action.

She joined us on many of our shoot days last season and really captured each day.

She has also very kindly donated an hour photo shoot for your dog in the raffle this year! Not one to miss 🐶

Our story

This is a competition to assess your dog’s ability to work on a shoot day, individually and as a team. It is not a gundog working test or trial, it is an assessment of shoot-day working ability.

The scoring system is simple, either Pass or Fail; a Pass Plus (P+) may be awarded if the task is completed efficiently and with minimal handling.

The Challenge is open to teams of 4 dogs and handlers, with a maximum of 10 teams competing over the weekend.
