There is a growing trend for more people to use adversive tools when training their dogs. I fully support Trailblazers Activity Dogs in there stance against people using these tools on their sessions
As of 1st April 2025 anyone using adversive tools on Trail Chaser Dog Adventures sessions will be asked to remove them from their dogs. If this is refused, you will be asked to leave the session without a refund. This will be reflected the updated Terms and Conditions and we be available from 1st April 2025
Sorry to be businessy, many thanks for your understanding

At Trailblazers we welcome dogs that other sports trainers and clubs may have to turn away. We love offering dogs the opportunity to enjoy themselves, regardless of any struggles they may have in other areas of their lives.
We pride ourselves on being extremely welcoming to everyone too, and our group is full of lovely supportive people and has a real community spirit.
What we donโt welcome, and will never accept on our sessions, are the use of any tools that cause pain, discomfort, or stress to the dogs. We will also not tolerate any harsh handling. This is non negotiable.
The following are banned on all of our sessions
โ E-collars
โProng collars
โGrot collars
โCheck chains
If you feel that you have to use one or more of these tools in order to be able to control your dog, then we are more than happy to put you in touch with any one of the local qualified trainers and behaviourists that we know use only kind and fair methods.
We are very lucky to have a wide selection of incredibly experienced and ethical dog training and behaviour professionals in our local area, and they would be able to help you with whatever youโre struggling with. Once you feel confident that you would be able to attend one of our activities without the use of an aversive tool, youโd be more than welcome to join our sessions.
As we said, itโs non negotiable. Itโs not open for debate. These are our ethics and we stand by them. We are passionate about training all dogs with positive reinforcement, kindness, and understanding. Ultimately if you really donโt agree with our ethics, then we are not the right fit for you anyway.
