On a puppy's first groom it's not about getting that perfect cut, it's about allowing them to understand the process of grooming and building up their confidence.

Everything is new to them, the feeling, the noises, the smells!👃👂

Hope everyone's staying warm and safe!! It is absolutely freezing!!! I am now fully booked for January and looking at Feb I also don't have many slots left!! If you need to get booked in please do!! Don't delay it as the appointments are going quickly!🐶

So my last working day is going to be the end of April. I am still in the background working a few things out in terms of potential cover and when I might return. However, to all my lovely regulars I would highly recommend booking all your appointments up until my maternity leave! I am already nearly full my last working week in April and I would hate for anyone to miss out🩷🩵

We also had 2 golden oldies in yesterday!! Chester and Tilly. Now when we work with the older dogs it's not about the overall finish and getting that perfect cut. We take pride in making sure the doggies feel comfortable and have a safe space while grooming.

For instance both Chester and Tilly struggle a lot on their feet. Both lay down for their entire grooms and we work with them to get the best outcome we can without disturbing them.

The dogs welfare ALWAYS comes first here at Lulus🐶🥹🩷🩵

WE'RE BACK!!! It was so good to be back today, we had Daphne and Lettie in today and I honestly think they could be twins😂🩷🩷

📣Customer Announcement📣

There are a few changes going into 2025 here at Lulus. Some of these decisions have had to be made due to my health and being half way through my pregnancy and I am absolutely gutted about.

1. Unfortunately we will no longer be doing late nights on Wednesdays. The last appointments of the day will be 3:45.

2. We will no longer be offering hand stripping services, this is due to the length of time it takes and the strain it has on the hand muscles.

3. Unfortunately, moving forward until after my baby is here, I will no longer be able to groom big dogs. After talks with my midwife unfortunately this is the safest option for me and my growing little boy at the minute.

4. I will also no longer be able to do difficult/reactive dogs as the stress and pressure it puts on myself is too much of a risk to myself and bump.

I am extremely sorry to those I have had to turn down or let down due to this, but I have to put my health and my babies health first. I really do hope you all understand!

And that's a wrap!! 2024 at Lulus is officially over🎄

What a year it has been, officially opening the doors in 2024, grooming so many dogs I've lost count. Taking on the fabulous Lydia to help with your fur babies. It's been a heck of a ride and such an emotional one at times!!

Thank you to every single customer this last year, you really have made the first year one to remember.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely cards, gifts and tips for Christmas!! We're overwhelmed with love🫶🫶

I hope you and your families have a wonderful Christmas and new year and we will see you all again on the 7th January for the 2nd year of Lulus🎅🎄

P.S - today is the last day I will be answering any messages and the phone will be switched off until the 7th. So if you need to get your appointments in for next year please do! My diary is open up until the end of April🐶🩷🩵

Murphy has really come a long way with the grooming process. He still has a bit of work to do to stop him trying to nibble my fingers😂 but to say on day 1 of grooming him I couldn't bath him, he wouldn't come near me without barking, to now running full speed at me when he gets here I'd say he's the most improved pooch this year🥹🐶🩵

Due to me constantly chasing people for payments via bank transfer, some taking multiple days!!!! Unfortunately payment must now be made on collection before leaving with your dog.

You wouldn't walk out of Aldi with your shopping and say you'll pay them later, so please do not expect this from me.
