Here we have obi
Looking for his forever home

Obi is 2 years old
Fully house trained
Vaccinated and flea upto date
Chemically castrated
Currently back with his breeder where he’s been gaining alittle more education

Obi can be alittle reactive in certain situations but this has been worked on and he’s getting much better, new owners to carry on the work!
Obi is looking for a home with no other dogs
Although he is fine with bi***es he’s not too keen on males
And no children (he’s never been around children so can’t say how he will be)
Obi needs a home where he will have an active life and kept stimulated
Obi ideal human would be someone that can take the lead and show him the way with clear firm instruction 💙

Rather busy week, kids off school, rain, stables mucked out, mud, poo picking, rain and mud, lots of dog walks, more rain, flying acrobatics on my horse, more mud and then even more rain to add to the mud 🤪
All in a weeks work 😂🫣🤭

Not something I would normally do unless I can vouch for the owners…..

So here we have the beautiful black lab Reggie 💙
Reggie is 3 next month
Good with kids
Good with other dogs
Really well trained

Reggie is looking for a new sofa through no fault of his own and would make a loving family dog
Human vetting will be expected as Reggie will only be going to the best of home ♥️

☀️☀️☀️☀️ Warmer weather ☀️☀️☀️☀️

Trying not to speak too soon but….
All my dogs today have been alittle slower than usual, and needing a drink much sooner than normal!
The change in temp so suddenly is sometimes hard for them manage!
Especially when a lot still have their winter coats….
I know the temperature increase may not be much for humans but go put a jumper and and coat on then go for a speedy walk for an hour! 🤔
Just something to think about when walking and playing with your dogs!

One very busy week here at HCP Equine & Canine not only at work but with my own ♥️
On Monday we had Jaspers birthday, on Wednesday we had teddys birthday and on Thursday my other half bought a beautiful greyhound aka Maddison 💜 (Phoebe named her)
Looking forward to watching her around our local track!

A FRIENDS POST

This is breaking my heart but my circumstances have changed at home and I feel the kindest thing to do would be to rehome my little fur babies 😣🥺
They are the most loyal loving dogs but I fear I am not going the the life they deserve at the moment. I work long shifts and they are left for long periods of time

I’ve thought long and hard about this and looked in to the pug welfare charity for rehoming.

If with the help of my friends we can share this someone we know may love to give them a better life than I can 🙏🏼

I know dogs are for life but things change 💔
Darcie and Reggie are brother and sister and will be 6 years old in September and they need to stay together. They are 100% Pug and healthy.

They need a lot of loving and affection and will give nothing but the same in return.

Please don’t judge me I’m finding this extremely difficult 😢

Just a quick message ❤️

I’ve had a few messages over the last couple of days asking for regular weekly slots….unfortunately I don’t have any available at the moment as I’ve a lot of holiday covers coming up and already have a fair few on my books for regular walks , so I just can’t commit to having the extra time 😢

I am still taking bookings for holiday covers as I’m able to fit these around other jobs

I’m so greatful for the work that is coming my way and really appreciate all the recommendations ❤️

I have recommended other local dogs walkers to the people that have enquired to see if they are able to help 🐶

🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴Quick little one on rugs…
Not because I’m an expert but because I get asked often!
Should I rug…..
Well there are sooooo many different aspects to it, breed, clipped, living out, stabled the list goes on and on! What I will say is know your horse not the horse in the paddock at the side of yours or what Susan has said in tik tok
Like humans they are all individual!
I try not to over rug…as I have warm ponies/horse 50g/100g max
saying that at the same time Sandra’s sports horse next door who’s had 4 layers on all its life may feel the cold more than mine!
I think my point is don’t look outside and think gosh it’s cold, go be with your horse, watch them, see how they are behaving, have a feel of them ❤️
