Ubbe (Uber) ran off on a walk on Friday morning 8th March 2024. He is a nervous Romanian rescue dog, owned for 4 years by his owners. Apart from one sighting in the afternoon by a tractor driver, there has been no further sightings.

We have cameras and food out and Posters will be going up over the next few days. He is likely to be hiding in any rural areas of Stainforth, Dunscroft, Hatfield, Dunsville, possibly Barnby Dun, Thorne or even further afield.

There was a black dog seen running near Asda very late on Friday night but unfortunately the person wasn't able to say if it was ubbe or not.

We of course will have or will be alerting network rail, Highways, chip company, etc. Dog warden is aware and thermal drones had already been up on Friday.

We are very experienced with escaped foreign rescue dogs and there is a drill to follow so please read on....

If you see him please do not disclose his whereabouts on social media. We need that area to be kept completely quiet while we go there to put a camera and food down. Not people going there to try and catch him. Any activity or noise will spook him and prolongs the owners agony of him being lost and at risk.

If you see him, don't make eye contact, do not speak to him, just walk away and ignore him. This will help keep him calm when he sees a human. He must not be approached, fed, chased, followed, etc. Take a photo of him if you can and get the location, especially if its rural use Google maps or what3words. We can them arrange for our cameras and feeding stations to be moved there and start the trapping process.
