I did it! I passed my adult dog trainer’s assessment with the wonderful The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers. Thanks to all the amazing instructors and existing trainers I’ve met along my journey so far.

So proud of Apollo today.

After weeks of trying we finally had a huge breakthrough with his loose lead walking.
Proof that a little patience and consistency does work in the long run.

Also I must say well done to Shannon and her family for following my advice and clearly putting in the work between our sessions.

Had a lush time on Sat at the Raise the Woof dog show at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

It was lovely to meet so many people there and talk to them about their dogs.

But by far the best bit was watching my daughter Harriet win first place in the Dog most like it’s owner category.

Thanks to Katie and Charlotte and the team for organising the event and allowing me to exhibit there.

This is why dogs are just the most awesome thing on planet earth.

Be more dog.

After losing his parents, Suryia, a 3-year-old orangutan, was so depressed he wouldn't eat and didn't respond to medical treatment. The vets thought he may die from sadness..
The zookeepers found an old sick dog named Roscoe on the grounds in the park at the zoo where the orangutan lived and took the dog to the animal treatment center. The dog arrived at the same time the orangutan was there being treated..
The two lost souls met and have been inseparable ever since..
The orangutan found a new reason to live, and each of them always tries his best to be a good companion to his newfound friend.
They are together 24 hours a day in all their activities. They live in Northern California, where swimming is their favorite pastime..
Although, Suryia (the orangutan) is a little afraid of the water and needs his friend's help to swim. Together they have discovered the joy and laughter in life and the value of friendship.

Been training this little man for a few weeks now. Rocky is. Belgian Shepherd Malinois.
He’s been amazing with his eye contact and has now nailed his recall and loose lead walking is coming along super too!
