As any cat owner knows, some felines can be quite particular about their meals, and this is true for several of our current residents.

Our supply of gourmet cat food is running low, and for some of our cats, regular food simply won't suffice. We're reaching out to our generous supporters for assistance with donations of gourmet cat food.

If you have any unused cat gourmet cat food that your cat no longer wants to eat then please feel free to drop them down to our rehoming centre.

As always, we are incredibly grateful for your support. Thank you!

Bluebell - English Bull Dog - 2 years 10 months - Female

It brings us no end of pleasure to introduce you all to this stunning little beauty, the wonderful Bluebell. Bluebell is a spritely lass who takes the world as it comes and embraces every moment of it. Every day is a new adventure just waiting to be had and she just can't wait to land on her paws beside a family with the same optimistic outlook on life. Bluebell is certainly a captivating girl, if not for her unique looks, then her happy go lucky personality which will have you just head over heels for her within seconds. Bluebell wasted absolutely no time at all in winning over our hearts with her enthusiasm and characteristic "full body bum wiggle". So we are hoping that she will prove just as popular among you, the public, as she is on centre. Bluebell is very much a people oriented dog, if you're looking for a sidekick to aid you in all of life's experiences, then you have certainly found your girl. It doesn't matter what you may be doing, Bluebell would love to be involved. She's never too far from the life of the party and will often interrupt her own schedule of playing with toys or cuddling up in her bed to invite you to join her. If you have a bulldog shaped hole in your life (and on your sofa), we urge you to apply and can promise that it will be the best decision you could ever make. Due to Bluebell's shining personality, she could live with younger children on 6+. She could also live alongside another dog providing the introduction goes well here on centre.

If you are interested in offering Bluebell a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Angel - Yorkshire Terrier - 8 months - Female

This little angel is... well... Angel! A lively young lass with a heart of gold, Angel is on the lookout for a family that is more on the active side and can keep up with her energetic nature. As Angel is still a pup, there's still lots that she has to learn about the world but fear not, Angel is as confident as a pup can be and just can't wait to embark on her next journey as she settles into her new life. Since coming to us, we've been helping Angel work on the basics of socialisation which has been going swimmingly! She's made lots of new friends both human and canine alike, although she can still be a little unsure of dogs much bigger than herself. We are also working on things such as lead manners which, while also going well, she has yet to learn that you actually walk on a lead as opposed to jumping four foot into the air every few steps. She's a bright spark however, and as funny as it is to witness her do this, we're sure she'll pick up the actual walking part of a walk in due time. Angel is still young and has a happy go lucky attitude, but does struggle with some aspects of handling. Because of this, she could live with children aged 14 years and above (provided they are aware and respectful of her smaller stature and can allow her time to adjust at her own pace) and she could live alongside a dog of a similar size and energetic disposition pending a successful intro here on site. She could also live with a dog savvy cat, providing introductions are slow and sensible.

If you are interested in offering Angel a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Coco - Pomeranian - 2 years 1 month - Female

This beautiful bundle of fluff is our residential cutie pie, Coco! Coco is a truly stunning girl, both inside and out and she is certainly not above using her gorgeous lion's mane to attract attention and ensnare the hearts of anybody that meets her. Coco is a pretty sociable lass when it comes to people: she doesn't struggle when it comes to meeting new people but she does have a few boundaries that we ask potential families be respectful of. While she does very much enjoy some good fuss and attention, she much prefers this sort or handling to be done in shorter bursts - at least until she fully trusts you. This is what we have affectionately deemed the "princess pom behaviour" and while it can come across as a bit diva-esque to some people, those in the know are aware that it is pretty typical of the breed. But rest assured that once Coco is certain that you are friend material, then you are in fact a friend for life. Coco greatly enjoys spending time with her favourite people and one of her favourite activities is playtime! Give this girl a secure environment and ample toys and you'll be entertained for hours watching this little pocket rocket zooming around and making her presence known with her rather vocal play style. Her favourite game of all is fetch, although good luck getting her to drop the ball so that you can throw it again. Coco can be quite unsure of other animals and so we would recommend that she be the only pet in the household. She could however live with older children of 14+ that are happy to respect her boundaries when she asks for a bit of down time.

If you are interested in offering Coco a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Roxy - French Bulldog - 6 years 1 month - Female

Looking for a snuggle buddy with a cheeky personality? Meet Roxy, an adorable girly who is ready to find the perfect family to call her own! This loveable little lady is a master of cuddles and will happily curl up on your knee for hours of affection. Her playful, fun-loving spirit will bring joy to your days, and her snuggles will melt your heart every time. Roxy has a unique and endearing personality that will keep you on your toes in the best way possible! She loves attention, loves to be the centre of the action, and will shower you with affection. Whether it’s a cosy nap or a fun play session, Roxy is all in. She’s looking for a family or individual who can keep up with her lovable energy and shower her with the snuggles she craves. We would recommend that she is the only animal in the home for now, but would advise that she could live with children aged 12 years and above who can help to create a calm, relaxing environment for her while she's settling into her new home.

If you are interested in offering Roxy a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Olivia - Lop - 3 years 1 month - Female

Olivia came to us as a stray and has been adjusting gracefully to our rabbit unit with her comfy hay and toys. She is now ready for her new loving home to bond with a neutered male bunny. She has been relaxed while having a brush and getting used to human interaction while having a snuggle. Olivia enjoys munching on a handful of kale or spinach and an occasional carrot to knaw on. Our fluffy bunny will need regular grooming, which is a great way to bond. Olivia's ideal home would be with children over the age of 8 years and large accommodation indoors with another rabbit for companionship and access to an outdoor run.

If you are interested in offering Olivia a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Lou - Crossbreed (Cane Corse x German Shepherd) - 9 weeks - Male

Are you ready to welcome a bundle of joy into your life? Lou is a playful, affectionate puppy looking for a loving forever home. With his sweet personality and irresistible puppy eyes, Lou is bound to steal your heart just as he has with ours! Lou is curious, energetic, and loves to play. Whether it's chasing after his favourite toy or enjoying a belly rub, Lou is always up for some fun! He’s got a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Lou is looking for an active family who can provide him with plenty of playtime, walks, and of course, cuddles! He’s eager to learn, so a family willing to continue his training and provide him with lots of socialization opportunities would be ideal. Because of his age, Lou would be able to live with dog-savvy cats and could also live with other dogs who would be willing to show him the ropes pending a successful introduction here at the centre. Lou could also live with children of any age who are comfortable with a bouncy, playful pup who has the potential to get quite large!

If you are interested in offering Lou a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Justice - Domestic Short Hair - 2 years 0 months - Male

Say Hello to Justice. He came into our care as he was found straying. Justice has found cattery life a little scary and it has taken him a while to settle. Once he gets to know you he is a really affectionate and loves to tell you what he's been up to, whilst being fed dreamies. He is now on the look out for his new family and all the fluffy blankets he can get his paws on. Justice finds other cat company overwhelming so he would like to be the only cat for now and can be re-homed with children 12 years and over.

If you are interested in offering Justice a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Thomas - Domestic Short Hair - 3 years 1 month - Male

This handsome and loveable chap is Thomas. He hasn't had the best times recently, as he was found straying with an injured tail, which was causing him a lot of discomfort. Since then, he has had some of his tail amputated, and is now feeling a lot better. Thomas loves to tell you all about his day, being your shadow and having lots of attention. Thomas is now on the hunt for his new home. We believe the best home for Thomas, would be with children over the age of 5, but could live with another cat. He would prefer not to live with a dog.

If you are interested in offering Thomas a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.

Minnie - Domestic Short Hair - 4 years 8 months - Female

Minnie is a shy girl, but once she gets to know you, she loves a fuss and rubbing around your legs. She likes to sit outside on her shelf and watch the world go by, especially if plenty of birdies fly past. Minnie has been struggling to settle in a cattery environment, but we have found her to like the finer foods, and particularly treats.
Minnie needs to be in an adult-only home, as she has always had a quieter life, and we believe that she would be better suited to a home that matches this. She would prefer to be within a home that doesn't have dogs, but could potentially live with another cat (if the introductions are taken slowly). She will also need a home that will have patience and can give her the time to settle in and explore at her own pace.

If you are interested in offering Minnie a home, please visit www.rspcadoncasterrotherham.org.uk for more information or to apply.
