Happy new year everyone!
Well I was cruising the carribean this Christmas and even whilst exploring such far flung shores, there were wild jungle fowl chickens to see
.. and hummingbirds and grackles, parakeets and not forgetting reptiles too (closest to a silkie π)
Not too many feathers on this guy but worth a share anyway.. π

Christmas has come slightly early at Bantybarn. Eight new birds entrusted to me.
Meet Humphrey, a breeding black boy who will be used to lavender.
And Bogart, a porcelain lad with a collection of just stunning porcelain ladies

Check out this new white lad
All the way from Manchester
I already love him, he's so diddy. Now to keep him THIS white!
OK pekin gang
This video examples the colours in my June hatch, which makes them 11 weeks old
They are too young yet to be added to an adult flock
They will need their own separate accommodation to grow on
For the many times I get asked for lavenders, I'm really sorry but I've had pretty nothing but cockerels hatch this season.
As it currently stands I have no spare lavender pullets π
I'm located near Dorchester and pullets at this age are twenty shekels per bird
Thank you
