We've been busy adding improvements and finishing touches to our Stable & Stay static holiday home and holiday horse area. With new steps and balcony for the caravan. A storage shed next to the field shelter, and hay feeders and tie rings in the shelter. I've added an extra gate so good doers can take some time off the grass on our woodchip area. The woodchip area has had drainage and a wash off area added. The double fencing has all been put in place to keep our horses separate from visiting horses for biosecurity. We've also added a swing, play house and picnic bench for guests. The caravan itself has been freshly decorated throughout, has a new gas water heater, shower and taps. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for self catering. The dry weather has made improving the surrounding area difficult as the grass and new plants aren't growing as well as we hoped (its barely rained here for 10 weeks!) But Spring has now sprung and it's starting to look lovely and green now. We've added a woodchip path and enlarged the parking area with more stone. The hard work is paying off, as all 3 of our 1st three sets of guests have left us 5* reviews!
