🐾 Please do try and book your next appointments in advance if possible to help avoid your dogs going over their regular schedule.

🐾 Christmas 🤐!! My last working day is Friday 20th and this is a bath day only for anyone just wanting a freshen up before the big day… the salon will then be closed until my children go back to school which is Tuesday 7th January!

🐾 I will have my diary for next year arriving soon so anyone wanting to get any appointments in for the new year can all so do this from Monday 😊🐕

WINFRITH, MORTON, WOOL, CROSSWAYS AND SURROUNDING AREAS…

Coming out of Winfrith go right and left straight away on to Gatemoor Road

Follow down to the end and bear left on to Church Road

Just after the bend take Station Road on the left past Morton Equestrian Centre and carry in which then continues to the Avenue Road

At the cross roads go straight over on to west gate and turn right at Watery Lane

At the end you come to the triangle crossroads with Puddletown straight over, turn left (this last part of the road is narrow) keep following the road and on the left you will see my flag and a few of the other businesses signs out the front.

Turn down the track and the units are near the end.

Coming from crossways is the same however you start by driving along Staton Road and as when you get to the Morton turning turn left and you on the same directions as above from there.

I have attached a second map coming from Winfrith to show the other routes via Bockhampton.

Here is a few directions to help you find me the post code ‘normally’ brings you straight to the salon however if you do have any problems I have tried to attach a few different maps for you….

Alot of people coming from Wool, Bovington, Bere Regis, Wareham etc will come of Tout Hill heading towards the B3390 Waddock Drove crossroads

Go straight over the crossroads and keep driving past the Sculpture by the Lakes on your left and then Tincleton Gallery on your right.

Keep on going through Tincleton and the 30mph zone, it does start to get narrow from here!

You will come to a triangle crossroad which is Puddletown on your right and Woodfords on your left but keep going straight and you go up a hill, follow the road until you see my Tangles flag (and other businesses signs) out near the road side on the left.

Drive down the track and near the end you will see the new units on the left hand side and I am the second unit you will come to.

The last part of the road does get narrow however if you would prefer to not drive the narrow part of the road you can come in from Bockhamptom way.

Sorry for the delay in updating on here but I am now at Tincleton and settling in, it’s such a lovely peaceful place 🤩

Advance notice I am off for 2 weeks (separate weeks) in August and have limited spaces left for the rest of July & August so if anyone is needing an appointment around these times please let me know asap 😀

PLEASE READ …

Unfortunately I have had a few no shows over the past couple of weeks and most of which was new clients, everyone has been receiving text reminders and confirmation for what location I am currently at!

This does take quite a big hit on a small business like myself and sadly I still have my over heads and home/family to cover as much as I love my job I do not groom just as a hobby.
I often have to turn others away which could have had that appointment if notice was given and it’s normally unlikely to be filled last minute.

Due to this I am going to have to start taking deposits for new clients which will not be refundable if less than 48 hours notice is given, this is not something I want to do but with the increasing amount of new no shows and only recently re opened my books it’s the best option for the time being.

I am sure many of you are aware but for those who have not heard there has sadly been two dogs that have died from cases of Alabama Rot and both had been walked around the Morton Ford area.
If you get any concerns or your dog shows any of the following signs below contact your vets asap!

Painful skin lesions
Sores and ulcers, usually around the paws and lower legs
Sores and ulcers on the dog’s face, mouth, tongue and lower body
Fur loss around the above areas
Excessive licking
After three days, signs of kidney failure will appear
Loss of appetite
Tiredness and lethargy
Vomiting

So after my post yesterday unfortunately I have been informed that there is a delay with electrics being turned on and I will more than likely end up being disrupted and unable to work at certain times while the last few jobs get completed. 😩

This is not ideal especially as the salon in Wool has been dismantled ready for ‘the move’ tomorrow but we are going to wait and move at the end of June instead so everything is fully completed and I have no disruptions!

We shall put the salon in Wool back together however there will be a few changes like the fence and gate no longer there etc so please bear with me while we work around this situation the best we can! 🙏

Hope everyone is well..?

Many of you are aware as I have now spoken to most of you and I apologise to anyone I have not yet seen to tell you face to face that I will be moving the salon from June.

The new salon will be at Tincleton DT2 8QW and is a lovely relaxing place to be.

I’m truly grateful and appreciate all the support I have received and loyalty to make this move with me, it means so much 🥰

A little peak from last week of the painting that we (mainly my lovely husband) has done 🤩

I will keep everyone updated of the move but as it stands we are on track for June 😅

IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ

Unfortunately the time has come that I have no choice but to do a price increase.

As from February there will be a rise of £2.

I understand it’s frustrating, however it’s not often I up my prices and I do not do yearly price increases only when it’s absolutely necessary!

I would also like to make you aware I am updating my cancellation policy.
From February 48 hours notice of change or cancellation of an appointment will need to be given.
