**Update,,,Firstly Thank you all for the kind words, it means so much to us!! 🥰
Ziva update; She’s doing well, going to the vets this morning for a check up and then will have her stitches out in another few days, she’s back to her usual self so it’s getting progressively harder to keep her quiet! But my princess is healing nicely x
Nick Update; Livid would be an understatement! Typical NHS I guess but Nick got a call yesterday to say his life saving surgery is cancelled, reason?! Because the person allocated to do it doesn’t do the surgery he’s been booked in for the last 3/4 weeks!!! Yep! I don’t get it either 🤷♀️ I mean we even had a face to face meeting with him!
Anyhoo all the planning which was meticulously done will now have to be undone (and it was no easy feat to organise in the first place!) so bear with me while I sort through the list and catch up with bookings, also we have no second date to plan for so we may have to reschedule again in the future (whenever that will be as he has gone from 2nd on a priority list to not on a list at all!) so I’m afraid the saga is not over, we are both devastated at this but we will carry all the amazing comments and love over to the day the surgery does go ahead and will keep you all posted,
Thank you all so much for your patience and kindness xx
Hi Folks,
I don’t usually post about personal stuff but as it may affect the business I thought I would share my latest experiences with you so you will understand if I’m not corresponding with you at the moment.
Life outside of work has turned on its head over the past couple of months, My beautiful princess, Ziva, had to go for an operation today to remove a malignant tumours in her mammary glands, she was also spay at the same time while under anaesthesia to prevent pyometra and also estrogen related cancers in the future, as it happened this was a good call as the vet found the uterus to show signs of disease and fluid that would have been an issue at a later date, I’ve literally just picked her up and she’s sleeping off the anaesthetic, she’s not out the woods yet as the aftercare from an operation is just as vital to her recovery, she’s is on strict crate rest and lead walks for a few days and all being well will be back to her usual self in the next couple of weeks.
So while my care for Ziva is going on the other love of my life, my husband, Nick, is going in to Bristol royal infirmary for major heart surgery on Wednesday, with the actual procedure Thursday! He will have to stay in for around 7-10 days then it’s a 3 month recovery period at home, so obviously it’s going to be an emotionally challenging time for us, I’m having a couple of weeks off work to care for them both and will be leaving Ellie and Jess in charge at the salon.
As I may not always be able to answer emails, texts to my phone or calls I would recommend using FB messenger, texting through our system (for existing customers) or calling the office number (01305 753414) as then Ellie or Jess can deal with the enquiries, it will also free up my mobile as I use the same number for work as personal calls at the moment!
As I have had to move a number of customers already our spaces will be limited over May, all being well I am aiming to come back to work from the 27th May so realistically you are looking at mid June onwards for appointments at the moment although we can add you to the cancellation list in case we have anything become available beforehand, please be patient with us and I will do my best to keep everything as smooth flowing as possible but your patience at this difficult time would be very much appreciated.
Thank you all
Lisa x
