🐶 I’m finally open again and back dog grooming after what felt like forever!

Thank you all for your get well wishes and patience whilst I recovered from unexpected surgery and then followed by burst frozen pipes in my grooming shed, which took a while to get fixed 🥴.

It’s Tick season again and this year seems to be a bad year for them. They are also being found on dogs that are on Vet strength products.
Please check your pets over daily. Ticks can be difficult to spot so it’s quite common that you haven’t noticed them especially if you don’t know what to look for.

They are little white/grey/cream/orange bean sized parasites. They bury themselves into the skin and fill with blood.

It’s important that they are removed correctly with a tick remover. It can be dangerous and cause a lot of health problems if just pulled off as the whole tick needs to be removed in one piece.

DO NOT squeeze them or play with them, ticks can cause your dog to have Lyme disease

If in any doubt always contact your vet for advice
