❌FLEAS❌

We have had a massive influx of Fleas. We do ask that all pooches are up to date with flea (and worm treatment).
If your dog has fleas we will offer a flee bath for an extra charge of £10 on top of your pooches groom. We are having to increase the price of our flea charge to cover the cost of the time and equipment used to clean and disinfect the salon after.

Lucy is the bestest girl and now smells like warm spiced vanilla 🎅🏻 (Even though she like to play with bits of her cut up hair 😂🤦🏼‍♀️) but she does give the cutest little kisses and loves to chase the dustpan and brush! 🥰🐾

Just a polite reminder that WooHoo works by appointment only and recommend booking a few appointments in advance to ensure you have your pooch booked in for their regular pamper!
If you are unable to attend your appointment we require at least 72 hours notice or a last minute cancellation fee is required, this also applies to missed appointments or no shows and this fee needs to be paid before future appointments can be made.

Please can all customers be prompt to drop off and to collect their dogs, a late fee will be charged if it runs into the next appointment.

We have seen a massive increase of fleas upon dogs over the last few months.
Do check your pooches! You may notice increased itching and scratching. Maybe they look a little dirtier than usual (off colour) that’s known as flea dirt, which is a mixture of your dogs blood and flea p**p! It looks like small, dark particles that resemble pepper flakes or dust.
To help prevent fleas you can use different types of flea treatments. From pipettes, tablets, flea bombs, sprays etc But don’t use too much on your dog, it can cause an overdose, which can be fatal!

It’s getting to that time of year again! The weather is wet 🌧️ and if you have a curly dog. You definitely know what that means.. MATTS! If you feel you’re struggling to keep on top of those dreaded knots and dreads, please feel free to message me or book in for a groom. We can show you the best ways and methods to keep your pooches soft, fluffy and knot free 🐩🩷

🐕‍🦺 Mats often form underneath your dog's collar or the parts of their chest and armpits where their walking harness rests. Remove their harness when they aren't on leash. Consider using a rolled leather collar instead of a flat collar to prevent tangles around their neck. But make sure you give your pets a break from their collars, never leave them unattended with collars on. 🦮

As of Monday 9th September, there will be pavement works going on down Oak Ridge. Unfortunately, it has been scheduled to continue until the beginning of December. That does mean that Woohoo’s drive way will be out of bounds. However customers can still park on Goodwyns Road by the shop or opposite the school for drop off and pick ups. So sorry for the inconvenience. But we look forward to seeing you over the coming weeks ☺️
