****Before you let your dog off lead****
Give them five to ten minutes of on lead walking and trotting to warm up their muscles prior to letting them race around. This is especially important when driving to a destination for a walk, don't just let your dogs out of the car and let them go full pelt - its a recipe for an injury!

If your dog is used to wearing a coat in the cold weather, please remember to bring it with you! We want to keep those muscles warm following a treatment, just make sure that it fits your dog well.

I see lots of sore, older dogs after Christmas. Make sure that you give them sleep and down time to let then rest, a high step count makes them ache!

Some dogs (not all) really appreciate a warm coat to keep their muscles comfortable, particularly if they are short haired. Make sure the coat is well fitting though without restricting their movement!
