When I first met this dude several years ago, his loving humans explained he had been through a negative grooming experience and had some trust issues and anxiety associated with his paws. After a good de brief we decided on a plan going forward, keeping Leo's best interests in mind and using his 'habital' behaviour to our advantage. He is a dog who needs lots of reassuring, so we always start our sessions on my knees where he gets all my attention and as many cuddles as he wants before we start. Fast forward several years and he is a dream to groom! Even today after suffering a grass seed in his paw that required surgery, he still trusted me to handle the paw! I love my job. It's a job that just keeps giving!

Local pooches... did you know that Shelleys at Highcliffe Bakery is dog friendly? Not only Is this an amazing bakery but they also sell milk, eggs, ham, cheese, chutneys and Jams! Along side a beautiful fresh sandwich bar, with hot and cold savouries! What more could you want?

As a canine massage therapist I am forever talking to my clients about ball launchers and the effects they have on our dogs….so nice to see an article in the national paper….the more publicity the better…hopefully more people will make a more informed choice 🤞🤞

- Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a burglary where puppies were stolen from an address in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At approximately 4.20am on Tuesday 24 May 2022 entry was gained to a property in the Charminster Road area and nine young American Bulldog puppies were stolen from inside the address.

It is reported that the victim heard male voices, however by the time they got downstairs the offenders had left the address.

Police Sergeant Sarah Hodgson, of Dorset Police, said: “An investigation is underway to identify the offenders and locate the stolen puppies.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in Charminster Road in the early hours of Tuesday 24 May to please get in touch.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen the puppies for sale locally in unusual circumstances, or has any information about their whereabouts, to urgently contact Dorset Police. I am also issuing an image of the puppies in the hope someone may recognise them.

“Finally, I am keen to hear from any residents or motorists who may have captured any CCTV or dashcam footage around the relevant timeframe that may help our enquiries.”
