Heartbreaking news: A dog owner in Lincoln is calling for tighter fireworks restrictions after her beloved Yorkshire terrier, Lily, tragically passed away from stress caused by loud fireworks. Despite taking precautions, Lily was startled by a sudden bang, leading to a distressing loss for her family.

The RSPCA is advocating for more responsible use of fireworks and stricter regulations to protect animals from the fear and stress caused by loud displays. Suggestions include lowering the maximum decibel levels and designating firework-free zones, as seen in Scotland.
