Not 101, but TEN Dalmatian puppies! Sound up for squeaks ๐๐๐พ
Brave Bunty had an emergency caesarean section on Wednesday evening here at Priory and all ten pups arrived safely and are doing well ๐ฅฐ
If you've ever watched the film, you will know that Dalmatian puppies are born without spots! They develop them in the first few weeks and every Dalmatian's spots are a unique pattern.

One week left in November, don't forget.....!
๐Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an increasing problem worldwide, affecting both human and animal health. Antibiotics are essential when treating many conditions in animals and people, but bacteria are becoming resistant to many antibiotics that we rely on in human and veterinary medicine. Priory is taking part in the antibiotic amnesty this November. You have one week left to return any unused or out of date antibiotics to any of our branches for safe disposal.
#AntibioticAmnesty
What to do if you have leftover or unused antibiotics (or other meds):
๐พ Return them to your vet practice for safe disposal
๐พ Inappropriate disposal of unused antibiotics could contribute to antimicrobial resistance and pollute the environment through waterways, affecting our wildlife
๐พ Donโt ever give your pet, or any pet for which they havenโt been prescribed, left-over or out of date antibiotics. Using antibiotics when not needed could risk side effects, delay an accurate diagnosis for your pet, mean that your pets condition may not be treatable, and contributes to antimicrobial resistance
Our practice is taking part in the antibiotic amnesty this November. Clients can
return any unused or out of date antibiotics to any of our branches for safe disposal.

Having a tidy up this weekend? If you find any antibiotics or other medications that you no longer need, bring them in to us!
During November 2024 a National Antibiotic Amnesty is being held by vets, doctors and pharmacists. Priory is taking part in the antibiotic amnesty and we are encouraging clients to return any unused or out of date antibiotics to any of our branches for safe disposal.
#AntibioticAmnesty
Here at Priory, we are taking part in the 2024 Antibiotic Amnesty. Throughout November we are inviting pet owners to return any unused or leftover antibiotic
medications to us for safe disposal.
Antibiotics are essential to treat many conditions in both animals and humans. But they must be used carefully, to ensure they are effective when patients really need them. If not used responsibly, antibiotics lead to dangerous side effects, delay an accurate diagnosis, and contribute to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Inappropriate disposal of unused antibiotics also damages the environment, impacting water quality and wildlife.
Please drop off any unused medications to us at any of our branches. You can hand them in to a vet, nurse or the reception team.
This medication might be left-over from a recent prescription, antibiotics that you didnโt need or out-of-date medication.
Letโs keep antibiotics working, together!

Behind the scenesโฆ. this video shows the moment that vet Laura retrieved a grass seed ๐ฟfrom inside the nose of little Misha ๐ณ
Misha ๐ถ had been sneezing for a few days without resolution and so her owner agreed to do some more investigation. Laura used a rhinoscope to see what we couldnโt see with the naked eye.
On the tv screen is whatโs being filmed at the end of the rhinoscope, you can see the grass seed and then you can see Lauraโs forceps grabbing it and removing it - and then you can hear the team cheer at the successful outcome! ๐
Little Misha is much more comfortable now, photo of her in comments ๐
