Had the most pleasant experience at where I got to meet a few of the most friendly Manxies 🇮🇲 I’ve ever seen 😌 the lack of a tail, which is referred to traditionally as a stubbin’ or a rumpy, comes from a spontaneous mutation that arose from the limited genetic diversity of the Cats that have lived here for thousands of years. Manx Cats were famed as hunters of vermin and were high in demand for any farm owner or ships captain in need of such services. The Manx Cat, alongside our flag, the Triskelion 🇮🇲 and the Manx Loaghtan sheep 🐑 serve as the most recognized symbols of our unique culture.
