A very concerned user of Run free meadow has contacted me after they've found a chewed battery powered toy on the grass.
I'm sure I don't have to elaborate further regarding the dangers of this type of toy and the risks to dogs if they swallow the batteries.
Fortunately the person who discovered the item has cleared it up and disposed of the remains appropriately.
Please take care and only use approved toys that are safe for dogs.

It's the Parish Walk on Saturday 🏃🏻‍♀️ .
Due to morning road closures, easiest access to Run free meadow is from Foxdale side of Braaid or via Old School Hill Crosby.
Good luck to all the walkers!
And remember, there's a picnic bench in our meadow to have a rest on if you're feeling like your legs have had enough!!

You'll be pleased to know the Rally road closures don't affect access to Run Free meadow.
Easiest way today to access is to drive to crosby and turn up the hill by the Coop /Costa.
Tomorrow all the surrounding roads are open👍.

10 bags of dog poo collected this afternoon.
I appreciate how responsible and thoughtful most of the people using the field are. It's such a Shame that a small minority spoil it for others.

Please no drones at Run Free Meadow 🎮 🚁 .
There's private residences, farm animals and horses in the area who all deserve a quiet and unobtrusive day.
The IOM CAA has legislation in this regard and also details the areas where drones may be used.

A lovely lady who regularly uses the field has contacted me to say she's picked up 8 dog poo's during her visit.
I know it's easy to lose track of your dog for a short while, and we can all get distracted, However, if you see a 💩 on the ground that maybe isn't yours, please pick it up.
Hopefully that way, we can all work together to keep the field clean for all users.
