I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has used us over the last few deliveries since we started up taking orders. I thought that when other options would become available the desire for the service would fade, but instead it seems to have grown 😁

Please keep spreading the word and let me know what you need and I will always do my best to get it for you even if not on the list.

Next order will most likely be 31st Oct but it may need to be stretched to the 7th Nov due to other commitments.

As always if you’d like to place an order please do so as soon as you have a rough idea of what you need, order can be added to and changed as you like up to the day before we order. But as the availability list changes daily as soon as I have enough orders I’ll make plans to get it sorted. No orders means I think no one wants fish so won’t rush it 🤔

Just to let you know the next fish order will be next week now due to weather etc this week. So orders for Live and frozen food by 6th Oct and for Fish by 12pm on Tuesday 8th. Please make sure you can arrange for collection on Thursday 10th.

to everyone who gave us the opportunity to do our first order. Despite some challenges with boat cancellations and 1 Out of Stock I hope we served you well.

We are reviewing the process and have already made some changes to help streamline the service for the next order on the 17th September. The Availability list will be updated every Monday evening with orders taken from now till order date. Whilst this is an availability list it should be noted that a lot of the stock is fully available always with just the few oddballs perhaps that might run out.

Ok the first frozen food and fish availability list is going out tonight so please keep an eye out if you are a subscriber. You will also be able to download the list from the website tonight too. Steps for ordering are also found on website. fishmannaquatics.com

Please ensure you are able to collect from Douglas on the day of delivery which will be either be Thursday or Friday this week. As time progresses if we get enough from each area I might also be able to deliver to a central point South, east and west.

Once we have collated all orders by 2pm on Wednesday we will then confirm and request payment.

Once fish arrive and are sorted we will contact you to arrange collection.

Please bear with us as this is the first order so it will take time to streamline the process.

The more orders we receive the cheaper we’ll be able to sell fish for going forward.

Ok so we are looking to possibly do our first trial order next week. This initially will be with reduced quantity of choices to try to simplify things as the initial wholesaler we will be using keeps limited stock then we will look to making more advanced pre orders for ordering I in from further afield.

If interested please make sure to be subscribed to our fish mailing list on the website and I’ll get the lists sent out next either ready for delivery late next week or early the week after.

Hi All,

We are going to try something different this time and build up slowly before we think about reopening but we need your support to do this. Everyone has seen now we hope how important it is to support local. With winter coming and mail order both expensive and risky. Why take the risk? 🤷‍♂️

It’s the same old story. Use it or lose it. Unfortunately last time, although we did have a LOT of loyal customers it just wasn’t enough to sustain a shop. Especially when competing against the internet.

So we are going to start without the bricks and mortar and just do deliveries and collection for now whilst we look for suitable premises.

We will be doing our first trial fish order as soon as we have enough subscribers so if you want to join our mailing lists feel free to sign up following the website link below and we’ll do a few orders and see how it goes 🤞

In the meantime we will be sorting through our current dry goods stock and getting lists out for those too.

We need your support to make this work though.
