Proud to announce we have retained our Gold Cat Friendly Clinic status from Society of Feline Medicine International Cat Care . This is the highest level that can be awarded to clinics and is a testament to our incredible staff's kindness and patience with our feline patients. We hope to make visits to the practice as stress free as it can be for your cat and are always here to help if you need assistance or advice for this.

🏅We did it!!🏅

On Sunday, 8 brave members of Team S&S conquered the Dundee Kiltwalk to raise money for Strathcarron Hospice.
We are so happy to have raised money for this cause so close to our hearts.

‼️MISSING CAT- CAMBUSBARRON‼️

This lovely cat hasn't been home since Saturday 10th and has never been away for that long. As you can see she has a very distinctive hook shape in white on her back if you see her please contact the practice, we can then let the owner know.

🚨 Can you please keep an eye out for this little explorer. His owner is concerned as he’s been gone for a few days and it’s really not like him. He stays not far from the practice. Please check your out buildings and sheds. You can let us know at the practice or comment below if you’ve seen him

We love it when dogs come to the clinic relaxed and happy to be examined, ready to place their trust in us.
As a Dog Friendly Clinic, we encourage puppy owners to practice examining their pups and giving them treats at the same time, so their dogs grow up learning not to be worried about being examined.
We teach this at both 🐶Puppy Playgroup🐶 and ⭐️Confidence Clinics!⭐️

⭐️Confidence Clinic⭐️
Are vet visits scary or stressful for you and your pet?😬 Confidence Clinic is here to help💪
The aim of the clinic is to first reassure your pet that the vets is a nice place to be with the use of treats and toys then we introduce them to various veterinary equipment, once comfortable with this we can move on to train them for veterinary procedures such as going on scales, listening to their heart and chest, looking in ears, at paws, in mouth, injections, vaccines, blood samples etc.
Confidence Clinics are run by Clare & Grace, Fear Free Certified Registered Veterinary Nurses. Clare is also a Companion Animal Behaviourist.
🐾Please note we use Fear Free methods and always go at your pets’ pace. We are aiming to build a trusting relationship with your pet and going too fast can jeopardise this.🐾

Its a legal requirement for all dogs in the UK to be microchipped, and advisable for cats too (its becoming law in England this Summer!). Make sure your details remain up to date so you can be reunited with your pet should they go astray!
