Happy Hounds Dog Training Club 'Happy Hounds' Dog Training Club. Held at East Langdon village hall for puppy classes and obedience classes from improvers to advance. Positive reinforcement.

Agility classes held at Cottingdon Court Farm Sholden. All classes are fun, kind and motivated.

This could be anything from working

On behaviour
Competition obedience
Working on play
Linking exercises together
Puppy/young dog that struggle in a group
Lead walking
Recalls
General basic obedience adding some jumping exercise.
Anything you are struggling with.

Kind, fun, motivated training
Using positive reinforcement, no force.

One of my favourite photos 📸
This was taken at one of the biggest agility dog shows. Six of the dogs were mine and my daughters, the other two were friend's.
The important of teaching stays, with distractions.
This was taken in one of the excerise fields with approximately 50 other dogs running around .
And what I love about it there are different breeds other than collies, especially a beagle 💕 xx 💕

Looking forward to our Christmas break 😀 thank you all for your continued support.

This year has been a challenge in lots of ways, especially health wise .
Fingers crossed 🤞 next year will be bigger and better.

Huge congratulations to those that train with me for all your wins and places, I am so proud of you all 💕

Have been on the quite side for the last couple of weeks due to problems at home, as most of you know. 😕

I want to start with THANKING all my customers and their beautiful dogs, new and old a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 💕🎅 you all have done amazing and I'm so very proud of you all.

I really am so very grateful for all your support and kind messages. I have missed you all and am looking forward to getting back to normal next year.
A massive thank you to Josie for keeping things going for me, I'm so grateful Josie.

My plans for next year are for the time being just running classes on the Thursday night. They will start back on the 9th January.

I may have a couple of places available especially in the puppy class, will be in touch with those that were coming on the Wednesday night.

I am also going to be doing 1 to 1 either at the Hall at Langdon or possibly at Cottingdon, please pm me if you are interested. That can be working on behaviour, obedience or agility.

If there's enough interest I was thinking of running agility once a month on a Sunday morning or afternoon in the winter and then possibly every other week in the spring and summer months again message me for those that are interested.

Once again thank you all 🥰 looking forward to 2025 and fingers crossed 🤞 it will be better than 2024.

Update on classes.
Tonight Thursday 14th as normal.
Josie is stepping in for tonight and agility Friday.

Just update on dog classes.
Saw the consultant yesterday, my foot isn't broken thank goodness.
I am waiting on am MRI scan. So the plan is NO WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY classes this week just agility on Friday with Josie.

Josie will be back running the Thursday night classes the following week so no Wednesday that week.

I'm hoping I will be back on Wednesday the 20th everything crossed.

Well today hasn't ended well 😒

After having extreme pain in my right foot yesterday and today, today so much pain I couldn't weight bear, just got back from Kent and Canterbury to find out I have broken my foot 😮‍💨 .

So feeling very fed up, and now how to work out, how to keep things going.

Dog club people just bear with me i have spoken to Josie and we will get something sorted.

I'm looking at 4 to 6 weeks out of action.
Horse wise, I have friends that can help with exercising Casper and Rosie, but will need help with poo picking and grooming and playing with the babies now and again.
So if anyone can help it would be much appreciated xx

I can't wait bear on my right foot. God knows what I have done, under the doctor waiting for an emergency MRI.
Josie would normally step in , but unfortunately can't do tonight.

Unfortunately tonight's dog club is cancelled. 😪
Wednesday 16th October
I got bit yesterday feeling very sore and unwell.
I'm ok been to the hospital, on antibiotics.

Need to share this video. I'm so bloody proud of these two. 💕
Charlotte Hughes and her lovely year old Dora, who is a rescue from Romania, did amazing at a local dog show the weekend.
This little dog was, terrified, when she started our puppy class on a Wednesday evening.
But with lots of understanding, knowing when to back of and when to push on ( that's not easy) and giving her the confidence to believe in us and that first time we got her to play, a moment I will never forget, still gives me goosebumps , she has now become such a confident, fun , calm beautiful girl.
Honestly Charlotte what a journey 👏 just keep on going, amazing xx

Had a lovely message from a lovely lady that trained her beautiful Spaniel with me so very proud 🥰 so much appreciated when someone says thank you xx

Me and my fully trained gun dog all ready for the start of the season next week 😁👏👏 thank you for the foundation training the gun dog trainer said he was very well trained when he got him so that's all down to you thank you 👏👏then he trained him and said he was the best dog he ever trained so eager and keen which I put back to you as you made training fun so thank you Denise xx hope all is well with you xx
