TC's Forever Home A forever home for special needs cats. We proudly support Donard Veterinary Clinic 💜 Our lives our dedicated to our cats and their needs always come before ours.

Here at TC's forever home we adopt those cats who are considered 'too old', 'not pretty enough' or are disabled or sick. We do not re-home them, instead we give them their forever home with us on a beautiful old farmhouse in the country. Prior to starting our forever home, most of the cats we had already adopted were elderly, sick or unwanted and so we decided to start our sanctuary in order to gi

ve more of these sorts of cats their forever home. We always prioritise the physical, emotional and mental well-being of each cat that comes to live with us as often they have had a tough journey before we find them. We work hard to integrate each newcomer in to the family and ensure they have their own space should they want it.

A certain little wobbly is hiding under a bed after getting a good wash of her back end in the sink. That's right, she is in code brown 😩 (if you've read Mark's book, The Pragmatic Cat Man then you'll know exactly what code brown is). The little madam has the runs and due to her wobbles, falls in it then proceeds to bumble around decorating everything she comes into contact with. This morning was particularly nasty, aside from the disaster in the kitchen and living room, my bed was covered and she even managed to decorate my water bottle. The joys of running a cat sanctuary 😆

Our boy is home and thankfully he was home in time to see his very special Auntie and Uncle. Our wonderful vet, Catherine is really pleased with how his ear is looking, so much better than the last flush he had. That said, it depends how the next few weeks go which determine if he needs further surgery.
