Ralph, our homebred horse by Forinth out of Riverhead Midsummer has had a super year as a 5 year old.

He's had 5 BE runs with no XC faults at all and ended the season with a 3rd At Alnwick Ford (BE90) and 8th in his first BE100 at Askham Bryan.

The highlight of the year was qualifying for the BYEH final and resulted in a day out at Burghley.

He's home and in the field for a break before doing some dressage and show jumping over the winter before the 2025 eventing season.

This season has only been made possible by many people and I'm not going to name them all - as I'll possibly miss someone out but thanks to everyone!!!

Dora seems to be changing colour very fast at the moment.

This beautiful filly by Forinth out of Sadie (full connemara) will be looking for a new postcode at weaning.

Expected to make 15.2hhs.

Have you had chilled semen sent to your mare from our stallions this year? If you have still got your box then please, please could you return it.

Some of our boxes haven't been returned to us. We provide a return address label and you don't have to send them special delivery - just normal post.

I've just had to place an order for 2 brand new ones and at a cost of just under £42 plus delivery it's a cost I didn't need to make had boxes been returned.

A few weeks ago our lovely connemara mare, Tallyho Callie, was presented to the BCPS mare grading at Barrowby Stud.

We're delighted that she was awarded Class 1 status.

This lovely mare has produced us 4 foals to our own Forinth and is scanned back in foal again to him.

Next year we're hoping to put her to a Connemara stallion but we do really like the WB crosses she's given us to date.

Rebel is looking forward to some outings very soon! A couple of weeks time he heads to Bramham for the stallion parade and then we have some eventing planned for when he’s a bit quieter on the stud side.

He will be available at stud until mid July we are running a an offer to the end of the season pay £50 deposit and £325 balance upon your mare being scanned in foal (collection and shipping charge to apply for chilled/shipped).

With the ever increasing costs at the moment we've decided to keep Rebel's stud fee the same as last year at £375 nffr

Plus if you've used any of our stallions in the past there's a discount of £25 making it £350 stud fee for 2024.

There is also no increase on our keep fees for this season either.
