Little Teddy is a Westiepoo. He is six months old. The owner was informed by the breeder not to get him groomed before 6 months old. So being a good owner and believing the words of the breeder he did just that. As a groomer I am so upset when owners are told do do this. Your puppy needs to get used to coming to the groomer. It doesn't necessarily need a hair cut but a Puppy introduction to a procedure it must have done on a regular basis. As soon as your puppy is fully vaccinated get the to a groomer. Be clear what you want done and listen to the advise of the groomer. If you don't you will end up with a situation Teddy's owner has found themselves in. Thankfully Teddy is the coolest little dude I have ever come across. He took everything in his stride. I was so worried his first experience at a groomers would be a nightmare for him. Well done Teddy. Please pass this information on to anyone you know with a new puppy .

Ultra crazy, super fidgety and beyond cute Benji, a six month old cockapoo, had his first ever visit to a groom room yesterday. Well lady luck was on my side. His coat was knot free and he thoroughly enjoyed his grooming keeping still and almost falling asleep ! Let's hope his next visit goes as well.

The big, the beautiful and not so amused Rosie. I have groomed her for years and her excitement level to see me hasn't elevated at all...started at zero and remains at zero. Only thing to have changed over the years is we both have quite a bit more grey hair ! I love her to bit xx
