Robin - DSH, 3 yrs approx.🐈‍⬛✨
Robin arrived in our care after being handed in as a stray who had sadly been living rough for quite a while.

Robin is such a friendly boy, he loves people, he's very confident and adores nothing more than a fuss. Once he is really enjoying a fuss, he will flop onto his side / back into a big heap ready for tummy rubs!

We have no history on Robin due to the circumstances surrounding his arrival however, we are sure he was a very loved pet once (given how much he adores people and how confident he is) who strayed a little too far from home and became lost.

Will update with more tailored information as we get to know Robin.

Win (sandy coat, darks spots on nose) D.O.B - 22/11/24, Husky X Lurcher

Despite his markings making him look like a little grumpy goblin pup at times - Win is extremely happy, cuddly, affectionate and very playful. He has lots of energy and loves to exert this through play!

🐾Started socialising with other dogs - so far, very well - they are both social butterflies
🐾Currently learning lead manners out on walks (harness) and they are very good at walking well on the lead! - see video!
🐾Due to being in kennels - will of course need to be house trained
🐾New owners to continue basic training with them - they have learned how to 'sit' and 'wait'
🐾Though they are very small and cute now they have the potential to be very strong and powerful once adult as they are husky x lurcher and will require more mental stimulation and walks - new owner will need to be suitable for the lifestyle they will need.
🐾Not been introduced to cats or children
🐾Win is very affectionate and cuddly but also very playful

If you would like more information or would like to visit and meet Win please give us a call on 01905 345655

Zelda - X breed, 15 months🐕🐾
Zelda with two of her pups in tow came to us as the previous owner was unable to house the dogs they currently had along with Zelda and her unexpected puppies in their accommodation.

Zelda gave birth to 6 puppies on the 22/11/24 and two of her male pups came to us for rehoming.

We know Zelda as she and the pups dad have came to our boarding kennels previously. Zelda is still young herself so can be very excitable and overly keen to make friends with everyone (can jump up to greet you).

Zelda absolutely adores people and all she wants is a cuddle, kisses and all the silly voices!

✨Very food motivated and will work and train for a treat
✨Has lived with another dog very happily - we would have to assess this and conduct multiple meets if you already have a dog and would like to adopt.
✨Has lived with older children in previous home
✨Will need extra lead training as she can be pully, we use a figure of 8 whilst here which has improved her ability to walk at a calmer pace
✨Crate trained
🏡Ideal home: someone who can match her energy that can give her lots of long walks out exploring.

If you would like more information or would like to arrange an appointment to meet gorgeous girl Zelda, please give us a call on 01905 345655. Open every day from 11:30 - 3:30

Billy - Pointer X, 2 yrs🐶
Billy has sadly been returned to our care once again as his owners were no longer able to give him what he needs.

Billy originally came to Danemere suffering with seperation anxiety and evidently, this is still the case. Billy struggles with being left even for short periods of time (whilst left Billy is not destructive but will bark). Billy was also returned as he does not like other dogs - this had became harder for his owners to handle when out and about on a walk etc.

Billy is such a sweetheart, a a big friendly boy who loves cuddles and attention and will thrive with a family who are willing to put extra time into his impulse control whilst providing him a consistent routine.

Reactive towards other dogs (however during his kennel stays - providing that there is distance between him and other dogs he is quite happy to simply ignore other dogs passing by but please know that this appears to not be the case when out and about)
Will need to be the only pet in the household
Ok with older children
Walks better with a figure of 8
Loves playing with toys - especially playing fetch with a ball
Described as having 'selective hearing' when on a walk - lead walks only
Crate trained and happy to use crate
Great with strangers - just an excitable boy!
Travels well in the car
Has had training and improved his lead manners
Knows basic manners
Lovable giant
Due to Billy's history he displays separation anxiety behaviors and struggles to be left alone for long periods of time

We are looking for someone who will be around for most of the day to keep his mind stimulated and provide the correct enrichment to help him thrive. He loves his toys and treats and would be best suited to an active family who can take him on long walks.

Billy's new family/owner will need to provide patience and a tolerance to continue his training as he settles into his new routine.

Billy will need to be re-homed to a single dog household with older children over the age of 12 who ideally have experience owning and handling large breeds.

We also would like Billy to go to a home that can provide on going training.

If you would like to meet Billy please get in touch with us on 01905 345655 to arrange an appointment 🏡🐾

Angus - DSH, 8 months Approx.🐾✨
Angus was brought to us as the previous owners landlord would not allow cats and we do not have an awful lot of information regarding Angus' history unfortunately.

Beautiful boy Angus has such a lovely little personality - he is super friendly and loving.

Angus absolutely adores humans and having a fuss and cuddle. He enjoys it so much he produces the most sweetest, heart warming chirps and purrs!

Kept indoors only in previous home
Confident
Likes to be groomed
Never been introduced to dogs
Happy, friendly, loving boy!
Good with children

If you think you could open your heart to this handsome boy please give us a call on 01905345655 or visit us today from 11:30 - 3:30.

Haggis (Black & White) & Bonnie (Tortie) - D.O.B 29/08/24🐱✨
Haggis and Bonnie came to us due to the previous owner being unable to care for them because of health reasons.

Haggis and Bonnie are both absolutely adorable! Bonnie is on the move at all times, unless, you fuss the right spot on her head and she will lay down purring - she loves head rubs! Bonnie also loves circling your feet, weaving all around your legs for attention.

Haggis is slightly more placid and will sit and enjoy a fuss., meowing and chirping as he does. Haggis too is very playful and likes to chase teaser wands!

We believe they would suit most environments and slot themselves right into the family as if they'd always been there. They have such big personalities in such tiny bodies, they will make you laugh and fall in love.

Very friendly
Lively and playful
Super cute & Confident
Happily lived with another older cat before
Lived with children in previous home (aged 5+)
Kept as indoor cats only
They have been introduced to small dogs without any issues.

If you think that you could be the right home for Haggis & Bonnie please get in touch or visit them in our cattery open from 11:30 - 3:30 every day!

Melody - DSH, approx 2🐈‍⬛
Melody has returned to Danemere due to not getting on with the resident cat in her new home. Therefore the owners felt that it was best to give her another chance at finding the right home - cat free!
We were also told that she is a one person kind of cat - she apparently didn't like other family members in the household. she much preferred the one person. However, we have never found this with Melody and have never seen a side to her that hasn't lapped up all the attention she can get whilst purring away! Although - like any cat, if they are over stimulated and have had enough interaction, she will let you know.
*The following information is the original description on Melody from the first time she was with us*
Sadly Melody was handed into the vets after a cleaning company were instructed to clear a house after the previous tennant had passed away and there they were! Luckily they were taken to the vets to be given hope for a forever home.
Melody was already pregnant when she came to us and gave birth to 6 gorgeous kittens back in August!
Melody has been a fantastic mummy and looked after her kittens so well but now they have all weaned and found their forever homes - its now time for this mummy to be looked after!
Melody is such a sweet, friendly girl with a love for head rubs.
Melody deserves the best home.
Unsure whether she has ever been introduced to dogs.
Has lived with a cat before happily.
Unsure on history with children - we are sure she would be suited though as she has a gentle temperament

If you would like more information please give us a call on 01905345655 or if you would like to visit and to meet any of our cats our cattery is open every day from 11:30 - 3:30

Koda - DLH, approx 8 yrs +
Koda was found as a stray and kindly brought to us. We checked for a microchip to see who he belonged to but unfortunately he was not chipped therefore we have no history regarding him or his background.

Koda is a very confident boy who loves making new friends once he's already given you the sniff test to approve your friendship- 'pssspssspss' at him and he'll come straight over to you to say hello. Koda loves a head and cheek rub and will lean his head and whole weight into your hand and lay down to truly enjoy the fuss and attention.

Koda is giving all the angles in his photographs - a true model, its giving powerful, majestic, playful and cute.

Koda is such a sweet boy and will make such a loving companion.
If you would like to meet the majestic Koda in our cattery - we are open every day from 11:30 - 3:30 🐈‍⬛✨

The following 3 cats came to Danemere (along with 3 others who have since been rehomed)from another rescue who reached out to see whether we could help them as they were struggling with space after they had saved over 20 cats from a hoarder home. Due to their past and now being moved around and in strange new places with lots of new smells - they are very wary of people and are still settling in to cattery life. Some have settled in quicker than the others, they just need a lot of love and time.

We will update as the days/weeks progress and we have more personalised information on the individual cats.

✨Commet (M) - DSH, 1-2yrs approx. (FIRST PHOTO)
Commet (tabby & white) is the most confident out of the 6 originally brought to danemere, he loves people and adores a fuss - he even dribbles from enjoying a fuss that much!✨

Blitzen (B&W) & Cupid (M) - DSH, Approx. 1-2 yrs
Very nervous and scared. Will need lots of patience and time for them to come out of their shells. During the Christmas period they have became much more relaxed and used to the routine of the cattery however still need more time to trust humans. They would benefit from an experienced, patient owner who can understand their needs and support them in growing their confidence.

Tia - DSH, 6 yrs
Tia came in as the previous owner was elderly and could no longer care for Tia adequately.
Tia was originally brought to the vets as a presumed stray however as she was chipped the vets contacted Tia's owner and they were told that the owner no longer wanted her and requested that Tia be put to sleep. Tia is healthy and this was not at all something they were comfortable with and that's when they decided to contact us to see whether we could help poor Tia as her future was at steak! Hearing that, of course we were happy to have her signed over in to our loving care.
Tia can be timid at times and tends to shy away from noise but she does like a gentle fuss once she trusts you. She will pop her head out of her bed to say hello to greet you, gain a head rub and then retreat back to the comfy secure den where she feels safest.

🐾We are sure in time Tia will gain her confidence and show us different sides of her personality - it just takes time and patience.

🐾Only pet household all of her life - we are unsure whether she would be ok with other pets.

🐾Tia has only ever been an indoor cat.

If you would like to meet Tia in our cattery we are open every day from 11:30 - 3:30
