Nicky is our longest standing Veterinary nurse.
She works weekends with us, because she’s also studying radiography at university. She’s a fun, friendly and familiar face, she’s bonded with many of our clients and their pets.
Be sure to say “Hi” if you see her around 😍

🎉National Vet Nurse Awareness Month 🎉
💜This is Sophie, one of our Vet nurses here at Droitwich Vets4Pets.
💖We’re highlighting our nurses this month to celebrate National Veterinary Awareness Month (NVAM). Originally started by BVNA back in 2005 as a day, the campaigns built so much momentum it was quickly turned into a month celebration during May.
💜The role is so pivotal to the daily functioning of our practice and we really couldn’t do the job without our awesome nursing team.

A huge thank you to our phenomenal receptionist team ❤️
Lesley, Sasha and Emily; we could not do what we do as a practice without you guys.
You always make the days run as more smoothly, your always there for our clients and their pets; giving advice. You clean up after the rest of us, when we do venture out the front . Endless calls, emails and dealing with queries, and all with a welcoming smile.
💛Lesley, Sasha & Emily you are all such a credit to Vets4Pets Droitwich 💛
Ruby enjoying her Hydrotherapy 💦
💖Ruby is a nearly 2yr old chihuahua, a regular here at Vets4Pets Droitwich, loved and adored by all. She really is a rare Ruby; so loving and gentle, and always ready to give licks and kisses for a treat in return 💖
Ruby, sadly suffers from a condition called “luxating Patella” this is where the kneecap dislocates or moves out of its normal position. It doesn’t stop her living her best life. She’s still full of beans.
🐶Ruby was referred for Hydrotherapy, and she’s excelling at this. A little cautious at 1st but she was soon trotting on the treadmill. Hydrotherapy uses water at a therapeutic temperature. The warmth of the water alongside the weightlessness properties that it offer, allows exercise to be performed comfortably and safely to achieve muscle building, strengthening, and overall improvement in comfort levels.
💦Benefits of Hydrotherapy;
✅ Relief from pain, swelling & stiffness
✅ Relaxes muscle tension & spasms
✅ Increases sensory perception
✅ increases & maintains muscle strength
✅ Increases cardiovascular fitness
✅ Improves mobility

National Pet 1st Aid Awareness Month: Bleeds
🏥 April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month; a month we dedicate to teaching fellow pet parents about providing emergency care to their animals when necessary.
❗️The first thing all pet parents should understand is that prevention is the best medicine.
⛔️While you can’t stop all accidents from happening, you can take steps to reduce the dangers and risks your pet faces every day.
📽So over the course of the month, our nursing team will be posting videos of short but helpful tips on basic 1st aid for your pets 🐶🐱🐭🐹🐰
Here’s our Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse; Gemma, she’s going to talking about bleeds and bleeding 🩸
Aunty Vicky’s still here; but not in practice.
As most of you will know Aunty Vicky isn’t going to be in the practice for the next 5 weeks. She is however still contactable and available to offer support and clinical guidance remotely for your pets 💚
We have 5 wonderful vets joining us though; Steph, Sandy, Alisha, Lydia and Lauren. They look forward to meeting you and your pets. We are still fully functioning and open here at Droitwich Vets4Pets to look after you and your pets 💛
Hours remain the same, nothing has changed and most importantly Aunty Vicky will be back in March ❤️
From all the team at Droitwich Vets4Pets ❤️
🎄Merry Christmas to all our wonderful Clients and their pets 🎄 from Aunty Vicki and her team at Vets4Pets Droitwich ❤️
