Today we had 2 Headteacher's Awards given out for kindness, one student (J, age 14) helped someone younger with his maths work, whilst another student (M, age 14) completed her sponsored run at a slower pace in order to encourage someone younger.

Today our students raised over £100 for Children In Need with a bake sale and sponsored runs. We witnessed lots of students pushing themselves to complete more laps and several students generously purchasing bake sale items for other children, we are all incredibly proud of them! A special shout out to one student (A, aged 12) who completed 13 laps and two students (K, aged 13 and C, aged 13) who took charge of the bake sale and spent their free time setting up and counting money, thank you for your help.

Yesterday we had a visit from PCSO Mawby, all of the students had a great time asking questions and exploring a real police car!

After being vaccinated and spayed, Coral can finally join the rest of the cats and start adventuring out to the yard in the day. She wasn't so sure about getting her paws dirty to begin with but by the end of the day she seemed very settled. 😸

Introducing the newest member of the ferret family, Brittany is a 4 month old albino female from Coventry and she is fitting in nicely with our other little monsters!
A big thank you to our year 9 and 10 students for helping update the ferret enclosure, they worked very hard to empty everything out, clean and build their new furniture.

KITTENS FOR REHOMING

Frost (Calico girl) and Fudge (tuxedo boy) are still looking for their forever home, they are both shy but handleable and both are vaccinated, flead and wormed. If you are interested in adopting them please message the Gloverspiece page!
