Huge thanks to for sorting the TBs feet out. Jazzy new shoes and support pads for Ruby. Azari back in shoes as he’s thin soles and had a huge abscess. Then all the others were trimmed and brought up to date. That’s 11 sets of feet’s in a week. Yay 😁. Back in 6 weeks to do it all again 🙈🙏🏼💖💖💖

Class of 2023. The foals now 2 months old and growing like weeds. So cute and super friendly. Bonus. Enzo we thought was just a black c**t. Turns out he’s been hiding his spots that are beginning to develop now he’s shedding his foaly coat. Super pleased he should look like his mumma 😍😍😍😍 **t

When your almost yearling Daisy is as small as the 5 week old foals. Mum is only 27 inches dad was 32 but oh my days she’s so so tiny. And those blue eyes are to die for. So lucky 😍😍😍

That’s the last one for us this year and what an absolute cracker of a baby.

Born 23/4/23 @ 9:50pm
Perlino Dun FILLY with ice blue eyes.
She was another dummy foal so that was all 4 this year. Blooming giving me heart failure 😞
But after the Madigan Squeeze completed with assistance from Haydn and Wendy who stood and watched. Paul had to come to sort out a water drinker leak.
Eventually got her sorted and all markers hit by 2 hrs. She’s a tad constipated but we’re dealing with that.
Dry pics to come later. Well done team TinkerBlue another cracking year.
Just one of our old mares that we sold back to foal down as she can be tricky. But we’ve got 10 days ish yet.

We had a huge shock last night. Watching one mare and another with only half a bag goes and pops this lil bundle out 🙈

Jet Black c**t (but think he’ll spot out as has silver undertones)
Born 1:32 am 16/4/23
He came out so quickly the umbilical cord was still attached to the whole placenta. He was also a dummy foal.
So once I’d cut the umbilical and sprayed it I did the Madigan Squeeze (need a dam medal for keep doing these) but they’re a game changer. However after syringing colostrum into him so his igg levels wouldn’t also cause issues I noticed that things stil weren’t right. Better but not right so had to do the Madigan squeeze again. This time it had the desired result 🙏🏼💙
After spending 5 hours with them. Mulan finally went to eat as she realised I’d sorted her baby boy and she could relax. He was getting up and suckling unaided. Christ that was a game and a half. All in all pretty dam stressful and I was alone with zero support. So yeah just call me superwoman. 😑😬😆🙈

Popsicle Beautiful yearling (almost) She’s going to be so beautiful once we gain her trust and she realises she’s not going to be starved or battered. Having help from Franck with her so we don’t do something to make it worse. A 10mth old baby shouldn’t have reason to bite and kick. So defensive. Food Dominant also. So working with that. Backs day today. They all had their backs attended to by the lovely Jonathan Gibbins who’s a McTimoney Chiropractor and I’ve used him for 12 years. TINKERBLUE THERAPY

TinkerBlue started 2010 and we gained the Prefix in 2015. TinkerBlue prefix enables us to Register our foals with either SPSBS (Shetland Society) or IMHPS (Miniature Horse Society). Paul Farmer is the registered keeper of the prefix and ponies and together with wife Tracey we care for this bunch of much loved babies. We couldn't have children of our own so we decided to keep mini fur-babies. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

We have a few foals per year born April/May each year, we breed for temperament and conformation. Since 2017 when we met a life long friend Kim & Chris Golding we started doing therapy visits and have been doing so ever since. We visit Care Homes, Residential Homes, Schools, Fetes, Special Needs centres and hospitals and wherever else we maybe needed. We do not cover pony parties due to the insurance.

We have a lovely team of Grooms/Handlers who are trained to handle and care for these beautiful animals that have so many benefits to well being of children and adults alike. It’s lovely and an absolute pleasure to watch the joy these animals bring to people.
