So how do you know if you have brushed your dog enough or properly and got rid of any tangles?
Use a comb after brushing. (I recommend a metal greyhound comb as seen below) It should glide through the coat like butter, as demonstrated by Apple who's owner keeps her coat beautiful between grooms 🥰
If it doesn't then further brushing will be required
The comb can also be used to tease out any small tangles. This is especially essential for all poodle type coats such as cockapoo's especially if you are wanting to keep a longer coat.
Just be careful not to over brush as this can cause brush burns to the dogs skin. 🐾
