Little old 'Polly' 🩷🐾

Her owners used to hand strip her themselves but she's now on medication that has made her fur grow in a way that makes it difficult for them to do and she no longer tolerates it the same bless her. So she came to me for her first clip and was so good 🐾🩷

It's also that time of year again!

TICKS:

Ticks are spider-like small parasites that suck blood from other animals. They have eight legs, with an egg-shaped body that will become larger and darker when filled with blood. Unlike fleas, they don't fly or jump. Instead, they climb or drop on your pet's coat when they brush past whatever they're sitting on.

Ticks are common in woodland and grassland and, although active throughout the year, you'll most likely see them between spring and autumn.

So make sure you are checking through your pooches fur for these little vampires, especially if they are going in these types of places 🐾
