The range of fish, from the tiny Tucano tetra, to the extravagant African Butterfly Fish to the beauty of Angel cichlids. The range of fish available to hobbyists has never been better and seems to be continuing to improve.

African butterfly fish Just £7! 👀

Fantastic value on an immensely popular little catfish from South America. Just £15 for a group of 5 of these! Available Saturday

Amongst several hundred fish we have acclimated today, here is a gem. L239, the blue fin Panaque. (Baryancistrus beginni) 1 is sold already, we'll have two available on Saturday! 👀

Amongst a few others in store currently, these disc characins are one of our favourites. Metynis fasciatus, or Tiger dollars are a fantastic alongside south American cichlids, a variety of catfish and Plecos and larger tetra. The larger the species gets, the more prominent the tiger stripes!

Amongst many, many other fish we got hold of 100 Pseudomugil Gertrude... A gorgeous rainbowfish from Papua New Guinea and Northern Australia. These look fantastic in a densely planted aquarium.

Got wood? This is just the larger stuff we carry. Plenty more smaller types!

These sold fast. Rubricatochromis exsul, or Turkana Jewel cichlids. We had 5 pairs, only on pair is left available and it's not even midday 😲

50 Years

We started up in 1968. In a small shop( over the road from where we are know ). We then built this building, and slowly built it up over the years. It’s know in it’s 3rd generation of family member. We stock a wide range of dry goods for fish tanks, and ponds. From filters, heaters, decoratons, food, and treatments. We give free water tests and also with our 50 years of experience we offer a good range of advice, for new fish keepers and the more advance fish keeper. We also stock cold water, pond and tropical fish, Plus a wide selection of plants, for tanks and ponds ( pond plants are only availbale in the summer months )

Over the years we have changed with the times We obv do a lot on Facebook, but we also have a google plus page, instagram page and twitter page. Plus a lovely newish website. Where we sell Dry goods on line. On our website we have lots of advice, and info on the fish we stock.

We do hope to continue going and well we thank all our customers for sticking with us, for there continues support ove the years.
