Please join me in congratulating all who passed there good citizen tests last night🎉🥳🐾, we are so proud of you all…keep up the good work as you progress up the classes!
Massive thank you as always to Helen Hepple for being our assessor and for being so kind and understanding!

Remember for those that past last night your now in the next class up so for those that bronze will be in the silver class which is at 8pm and those that passed silver your class time stays the same!!

Special mention to our trainers Sylvia and Maurice who also took tests last night, Sylvia and Taro passed their bronze award and Maurice and Kasier who passed their Gold award …we are all so proud of you both!❤️

I hope everyone is staying warm as the weather gets colder and we will see you all next Thursday as usual for class!🐾

Our next testing night is Thursday 30th November for bronze, silver and Gold!
Remember to bring everything you need like your brushes, toys and beds for the send to be exercises.

Just to make you all aware Kennel Cough is doing it’s rounds again in the local area!
If you think your dog maybe showing signs of being unwell then we ask you stay away to keep others safe.

Kennel cough is transmitted not only from dog to dog but can also be carried on footwear and clothing too…So we all need to keep our dogs safe and be aware of how it can easily be passed on! We hope we have your cooperation and understanding on this🙂 Thank you!

I’d like to congratulate all who took tests last night, you and your dogs have worked really hard and you should be proud, keep up with the hard work as you move on up to your next classes!

So this week we’ve seen some of our silver class pass their GCDS Silver Award…so a massive well done to you all!🥳🎉

And then last night was our last night of classes until the new year, you’ve all worked so well this year and we can’t wait to welcome you back in 2023!
Classes resume on Thursday 12th January at the usual times!

Congratulations to our recent puppy class of the last 6 weeks for passing their puppy test this week! We can’t wait to see you and your dogs grow in confidence and learn new skills as you move on up to the Bronze class!😁🐾

Good Citizen Dog Scheme Display Volunteers required for Crufts 2022 - 10th -13th March 2022, NEC Birmingham, West Midlands

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme would like to offer you the chance of taking part in its displays at Crufts 2022. The Scheme is looking to recruit handlers and dogs to represent the Puppy Foundation and Bronze award levels at the show for one day only.

In light of the current covid situation for 2022 the Scheme will not be looking to find handlers for the Silver of Gold display teams.

For the displays any breed of dog can partake but handlers must be physically able to take part in 3 sessions throughout the day. Dogs must have a sound temperament with people and other dogs.

As this is a Kennel Club licensed event, all dogs participating in the displays must be over 6 calendar months of age and comply with the show rules. Each person selected to take part in the displays will receive a free pass for themselves and their dog, a car park pass (if required) and a complimentary pass for a person to accompany them.

A polo-shirt will also be provided for you to wear during the displays.
Puppy Foundation displays – dogs must be aged between 6 and 9 months old at the time of the show. Puppies may have already completed their Puppy Foundation Assessment but must not have passed their GCDS Bronze award.

Bronze displays & testing - handler and dog teams will be taking part in two warm up displays and a live testing session. Dogs must be 9 months or over and have not already passed their Bronze award (Puppy Foundation is acceptable).

Car Park Volunteers - we are also looking for volunteers each day to help give out p**p scoop bags to exhibitors at the entrance and in the surrounding car park areas from 06.30-09.30 each day. Anyone taking part as a volunteer will receive a free entrance pass and a car park pass (if required).
