Lots going on with ongoing cases, assessments and all the usual work. More going on in the bigger picture of dog ownership which will be revealed soon.
There are still many people saying Police have come to their home and seized their XL, suggesting thousands will be owned in kennel fees and legal costs and it will take years and that the fact they have not already exempted their dog means the court will NOT allow the dog back.
The Police are not judge, jury and executioner. We have a law and a process that applies and Police must also abide by it.
I do want to thank several forces who are discussing how experts, solicitors and Police can assist each other in the process of many thousands of dogs needing to be assessed, go through court cases where needed and use the law fairly and properly.

The public don’t understand the microchip system. The veterinary profession could advise all their customers to check their own pet’s registration. There are many pitfalls for the public.
