Scattered appointments left in mid June only appointment available before then is on the 1st of May for a wash and blow dry at 4.15 🐶

If anyone needs to cancel or move appointment please if I can have as much notice as possible as have a waiting list for spaces ❤️🐶

I will be off on holiday ☀️ from Friday 5th of July until the 19th ❤️ appointments the week before I finish up are limited 🐾

Late nights will be changing going forward to a Tuesday and Thursday 🐶

Due to the rising costs I am removing the card machine to try keep the costs the same for all services for the time being.

There is a cash machine located directly across from the shop if anyone is having any issues please let me know 🐶

All messages have been answered… these are taking me a bit longer to reply to at moment due to signal issues in the shop 😢

Reminder of the benefits of regular grooming schedules 🐶

🐶 Maintaining a healthy coat, removing dead skin and allowing the natural oils to produce
🐶 Reducing matting - when the hair gets to long for the dog’s lifestyle this results in matting and although your dog may not show this can be very painful in day to day life 😢 matted grooms where a close shave down is required heightens the risk of injury.
🐶 The more regular schedules the better understanding the dog will have of its purpose most won’t enjoy it but they will tolerate better and reduces the anxiety during the groom.
🐶 Typically pets that require haircuts need to be trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks, 8 weeks at a push. ( I usually only recommend 8 weeks for doodle breeds which are getting a wash & blow dry in between or owners are regularly washing and drying at home) Work with your groomer to determine how often you need to groom your dog based on the following ; dog lifestyle - coat condition - length and desired style. I will always discuss what I recommend at the end of your grooming appointment and will be fair give my recommendations especially for all doodle mix breeds.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

* Any bookings which need to be cancelled within 24 hours will lose deposit or have to pay fee to cover cost of some of the appointment. Those who have paid deposits this will be non refundable. Please note that the fee is not covering the whole amount I will still have loss of earnings if the appointment is not filled.
* No shows will be due to pay the full amount of the missed appointment, I am very understanding when things come up but if you are cancelling on the day or not showing up there is no way that I can fill any gaps.
* Fleas - please check your dogs before they are due in the salon. Guidance can be found online which will show you the areas to look around or I can personally show anyone if they have any questions. Dogs which come to the salon with an infestation will immediately be sent home no matter how far along the groom is full payment of appointment is due along with a £15 fee. Any dog that comes in with fleas the whole premises needs to be fumigated and vacated before I can have anyone else in so therefore can result in me cancelling appointments.
* I cannot groom dogs who you may believe to be pregnant.
* Dogs in season- if you have an appointment and your dog is in season please contact me to discuss.
* Open wounds - I cannot groom a dog with an open wound
* Aggressive dogs - please note that I know your dogs are super friendly however I’m some cases they can become reactive in the grooming environment. If your dog has had any issues with a groomer before please advise when making a booking so I am aware. If for the safety of the dog and myself that I need to stop the groom I will contact you to collect. Full payment of appointment will be due.
* Matted dogs - if your dog requires a shave down due to severe matting please note this will result in a charge from £10 depending on the severity of the matts.
* Late pick up - on drop off you will be given a time to collect your pup I will only contact you should they be ready earlier or later. After 30 mins there will be a charge if running into next appointment.

Super super busy the next two weeks it is really important that all appointments come on time. I am squeezing more appointments than I would normally so just to make sure everything runs as smooth as possible. If you are too late for an appointment I may not be able to complete and full charge will still be due.

Polite notice 🐶

I am noticing a rise in no shows or short notice cancellations. I totally appreciate that things come up and I always try to be very understanding as I am a new business trying to find my feet. But I am turning customers away and recommending other groomers as I am unable to fit them in.

This is my sole income which pays all my bills, rent and gives me a wage and when budgeting my income each week and to have a chunk of this missing when I am working is extremely unfair. I am a 1-2-1 groomer meaning I have only one dog in at a time limiting myself to how much can be earned but this is what I wanted to offer. As per my booking policies if cancelling within 24 hours is 50% of the groom fee or £25 for a missed appointment. If this is not paid all future appointments will be cancelled.
