RESDIDENT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Meet Lion! Ft my parents dog as they play. 🤣
Lion was 3 weeks early and is today 3 weeks old! 🥰 It took him 4 days to stand on his own and now look at him go! 😍
He is a cheeky boy and full of love. ❤

Sorry its been so long since I've posted! Life has been crazy! 😅
Minerva turned 19 just after Christmas! She is as strong and fit as ever!
Everyone else at Haven is doing splendid also!

Another cold morning for the youngsters, Mars, Luna and Coops always come to tell me it's breakfast time while Brann, Edna and Iris just wait patiently at the feeder 🤣

Two fat ladies, 88. 🤣 Ol' Harriet and Six are in for winter! It's been I think 4 years since these two have been inside 🤣 not sure if they like it or not but once the rain, frost and snow starts I think they will 🤣

Two old ladies in for winter! Minerva and Paton! 🥰 Six and Harriet will be coming inside also but not until the weather breaks. Paton levels up to 15 in just over a week and Minerva just a couple weeks after, to 19! 😱😱

REUNITED! The herd is whole again! After Mars, Iris, Brann and Edna spent the summer over the road they are all back together for winter...well for a week or so until the old ladies come inside this winter as they are just to old to stay out now. 🥰 They were all rather excited yesterday with the reunion and seeing animals of thier size bounce and play is a sight to behold as the ground was shaking. 😅🤣

My baby boy 4 already! And I fear still getting taller, isn't 5'7 tall enough! 😅🤣

4 YEARS!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Yes, it's been 4 years already since I started Haven! Time has flown by!
It started with just Chandler and his triplets! Now 4 years later we may have lost chandler but we've gained so many! (31 current residents!)
Everyday seeing them happy and loved brings me so much joy! Thanks everyone who has joined the Haven journey so far! 💜

Peach update.
As I've mentioned before peach has been having back/walking issues. She has seen the vet again and they now think that part of her back isn't connected properly, suspected due to her being premature. When she was little it wasn't there but as she's gotten bigger and heavier its noticeable.
Long story short Peach may reach a stage where getting up and down and moving about is to difficult and she will have to be reunited with Chandler.
I'll do everything to keep her happy and comfortable and keep trying to get her better aslong as it's not a detriment to her.
She isn't in pain I know that and she is still 100% her happy self currently.
Sorry this isn't a good update I really wish it was, Peach is my whole world, I've never met an animal like her and the thought of loosing her one day, maybe soon, is unbearable. 💔

On Tuseday night, the 23rd Chandler went to bed but did not wake up. He passed peacefully in his sleep. He wasn't sick, just old, he ate his supper, got a cuddle and kiss and in the morning was gone.
He's been by my side for 11 years so it's taking some adjusting to get used to the world without him. Chandler was a founding animal of Haven and will never be forgotten. He was my wooly rock, my safe space, even if it was only 11 years of my life it feels like he has always been there.
The photos below start Chan at his oldest and travel back through the years to baby Chan.
It's loosing a member of my family and it never gets easier but I started Haven so that animals like Chandler have a family when the end comes.
Chan the man, chan-chan, Chandy, Bing man, Old man, ill see you again some day.

Happy New year. (Late) 😅 2024 at Haven has started out rather stressful. Old chandler has lost sight in one eye and the other is going too, nothing can be done he's just old. Lil Peach has a back injury or trapped nerve, unsure but she is being treated best she can be. She is still up and walking and her happy self however, as is Chan.
The rest of the residents are doing fine. Minerva was making her bed this morning, she may be 18 and arthritic but she still like a roll in the straw 🤣💙

A huge Haven Happy birthday to the stunning(I'll be it a bit soggy) Minerva! 💜 18 years young! She enjoyed some birthday snacks and kisses. 🤣 Its my honor to have met this old lady and give her a retirement she fully deserves! 💜

Look at these two! 😍 Since it's wet and getting colder Chandler now lives in the garage and garden with Peach. 🥰 They saw the vet today also and both have great health! 🥰

Norah and Bell must have been cold, they had themselves tucked into bed when I got home from work. I just left thier supper at the door and snuck away🤣 🐖🐖

Such a smart puppy heading to bed and turns to wait on her bottle. I didn't even teach her that she just does it. 🤣 Nikita is a very smart youngster. 🥰

I just love to sit and watch them play in the sun! The floof clan do love a run and play! And just Kimmy munching away next to me the whole video 🤣
