On a weekend escape or off on that much needed holiday? We know that our beloved cats feel most comfortable in their own environment.

Being a cat owner, you are probably aware of how settled your cat is at home and how stressful it can be for them being moved to a cattery while you are away from home. My service will provide a solution to this - keeping your cat at home in their own environment and keeping them as relaxed as possible. Whiskers and Tails can provide a regular service of care while you are away which is flexible a

nd will cater to your cats needs as you require. I am able to look after your cat if you are going into hospital, away for a couple of days or an extended holiday.

✨ Back Open - Now Taking Bookings for 2024✨

Hello everyone - I’m back 😸 Sorry for taking a little longer to reopen than I originally intended - I wanted to be 100% sure I could manage & give your lovely cats the best care 😻 Thanks so much for all your kind messages etc & your patience, really appreciate it!

Just a couple of changes to Whiskers & Tails for 2024 …

📱 Phone Upgrade - I finally managed to get this sorted (as some of you know, my last one was very temperamental) - in the switchover, I think I have lost quite a few messages so if you haven’t received a reply, please send again now I’m back in business!

📔 Limited May Availability

🔑 Key Collection / Forms - I’m going to introduce a new process for this over the next few weeks which will hopefully mean I go paperless too, just trying to make sure it all works correctly - more details will follow.

💫 Closed Until End of January 2024 💫

Hi everyone! Been a long time since I posted on here (thanks for keeping me so busy!) but thought best to put a wee update on!

I’ve decided to close from now until the end of January 2024 - although if you already have a booking between now & then, don’t worry, your lovely cats will still be looked after 😻 This only applies to new bookings.

As some of you know, I’ve been struggling a bit with my health recently & my Dad has been helping with bookings and/or chauffeuring me to visits.

Long story short, in October I was taken into hospital to find I have blood clots in my lungs & my recovery is extremely slow & very unpredictable just now - with what feels like regular hospital visits 🥴

I wasn’t too sure about sharing this but you all trust me with coming into your homes to look after your amazing cats, it’s only fair I’m also transparent with you.

I am also very behind with admin & messages thanks to this but I will get back to you all asap!

My Dad has been a godsend for Whiskers & Tails during this time but I’ve decided that it’s best for us all to take some time off to recuperate. I’d like to say January is my quieter month and while it’s not quite summer peak, it’s still busy but usually with last minute bookings which normally I can accommodate no problem - I just don’t want to let anyone down so I hope this is enough warning 😂

My 2024 diary will be open from February & is already starting to fill up 💫

Massive thank you to you all for using Whiskers & Tails this year & especially those in the last few months who have been so understanding of the situation & patient with me.

Look forward to seeing you all in 2024!

As part of Scotland's Gardens Scheme, one of our lovely customers are opening their garden up to the public for charity. They are supporting River Garden Auchincruive - a wonderful charity who support people on their recovery from addiction, it saves lives, grows people and helps remove the stigma associated with addiction.

☕️🍰 Tea, Coffee & Homebaking will be on offer to enjoy.
👨‍🌾 Some of the residents will be bringing produce from River Garden for sale.

It is a beautiful setting and for a great cause so if you are looking for something to do this Sunday, would highly recommend!

✨ Milo the Mouse Hunter ✨

This little guy used to bring me his ‘fishy’ or hunt hair bobbles to bring me as presents when he was a house cat.

He’s been allowed outside for nearly a year & tonight I got my first ‘gift’ 😭😭 I had hoped he had bypassed that instinct somehow but it was only a matter of time 🤦🏼‍♀️

Tried to tell him a bottle of Pinot Grigio is preferred if he wants to get me anything but I don’t think hunting a wine bottle is quite as fun.

Luckily, it’s only the third present I’ve gotten in my time as a cat sitter over the years but just a wee reminder to all your lovely felines that it is certainly not necessary 😹😹
