To the selfish, irresponsible man with the black labrador (not the older one) who allowed his dog to poo on the football pitches at Holm Park in Troqueer this morning…..we only hope you feel ashamed that you were caught out and carry bags to clear up your dog’s mess next time 😡

⚠️ Did you know that dog poo is one of the top pollutants in grass and rivers? Pet waste contains harmful bacteria and parasites that spread diseases and cause serious illness in humans. If left on road reserves, it washes into storm water drains and onto pollute our local waterways and rivers….not to mention, can be a stinky mess on our footpaths and in our parks.

Please pick up after your dogs 🙏🏻

Most dog owners are responsible. It just takes one idiot to not care and risk the health of children (and anyone else for that matter) playing football on that pitch. I hope you read this and hang your head in shame...but most of all learn from it and be more considerate in future!!!

Can anybody give this lovely boy a home please? 🙏🏻

GOOD HOME NEEDED
I am looking to rehome (not a cat of mine) an all black male castrated cat, approx 2 year old, house trained, just been treated for worms and fleas. He isn't a lap cat and is used to going outside. He likes the comforts of sleeping on your bed and is a good sized domestic shorthair. Also micro chipped.
Sadly his owner moved and has left him to fend for himself. So l've been looking after him during this time.

With the hot weather returning this week, please note that walks may be earlier or later to avoid peak heat we will also be shortening walks if required for your dogs health and safety and so may become a garden let out instead of a walk for customers who won’t be home.

Another Stick Dangers Story- please discourage your dogs from picking up sticks⛑🐾🐾

Not sure how aware folks on here are of the dangers of throwing a stick for your dog to fetch. This was Indie’s favourite game on a walk but unbeknown to us she must have cut her mouth on one and she quickly became very unwell with a large abscess. Fortunately after a harrowing 8 hours at the vet she’s now on the mend with a course of antibiotics but we were told at one point the outcome could have been very different. We’ll be swapping the sticks for a ball from now on. Picture below for cuteness. 🥰
