It's our elderly, toothless, rescue moggy Spider, getting ever so slightly irritated by young whippersnapper Marple (Tigerfeet Miss Marple 🕵‍♂️).

After waving goodbye to Tigerfeet Miss Marple 🕵‍♂️ on Saturday morning, I headed down to Kendal, where both Tigerfeet Viking 🚢 and his sister, Tigerfeet Malin Of Darktower 🚢, were competing in the Lakeland Cat Club Show.
It was great to see them again - and catch up with their lovely owners, of course. ☺️
Both kittens were awarded 1st place 🏅and Best of Breed 🎉 in their respective class - but more importantly, they both took the hustle and bustle of the busy show in their stride. 🥰

The last of our 'Sleuth' Litter - Tigerfeet Miss Marple left us this morning. She's not going far, just across town, and I'm assured there'll be plenty of updates. ☺️
It's always sad when our kittens leave, but I'm happy that her new family is a lovely match for this beautiful girl. 😍

Sleuth 🕵‍♂️ kittens Sherlock and Rebus - who's now called Cooper.
They left us on Friday and Saturday respectively, and as you can see, they're already making themselves very much at home.
It's always bittersweet when kittens leave - and I do miss them - but seeing them settle so quickly with their lovely new families makes it much easier. 🥰

These photos were taken on Thursday, when our Sleuth 🕵‍♂️ Litter were 14 weeks old.
They're the last photos of them all together, as both Sherlock and Rebus have now joined their new families.
Marple will be getting lots of extra play sessions and plenty of company until she leaves us in about a week's time. 🥰

FIFe World Show winning Maine C***s over the years. It gives an interesting overview of the breed's development.
Good to see that the most recent winners aren't extreme type. (FIFe has actually revised their Breed Standard recently to discourage extreme breeding 🙂)

It's such a nice day here, the conservatory door is open, so the Sleuth 🕵‍♂️ kittens are able to spend time exploring the cat run.
(The adult gang just ignore them 😁).
They're now 13 weeks old, and will be joining their new families over the coming weeks. 🥰

When our kittens are neutered, one occasionally develops a temporary obsession with water. Not thirst, or the usual MC splashing, but full-on, ankle-deep paddling behaviour.
This is Marple yesterday, following her spay. 😅🙈🥰
