Mantrailing dates
December/January

There is 2 spaces available on Sunday the 24th November at gretna 10am.

December

Sunday 1st Annan 11am

Saturday 14th
Powfoot 10am.
Car pick up. This is when the trail layer gets picked up in a car . And you have to see were the dog loses the trail.

Sunday 15th Christmas themed. 🧑‍🎄🥕
Crichton 10am . 2pm only 2 trails at this time, you will need a head torch for this session, as it will be dark when we finish. Although there are street lights.
We will be using novelty items for our scented articles. You can dress up if you want lol.

Saturday 28th
Maybie forest 9. 30.
You will need to pay for parking.

Sunday 29th
Daleside eastriggs 10am
This is a private venue, please add on a £5
To the session fee.
We will be doing hides behind close doors.

Heathall/ woods 11am

Annan 11am.

Intro session is £40 X 3 trails

2 dogs one handler 2 trails per dog.

Max off 6 handlers
Minimum off 3 handlers per session.

If booking for daleside please remember to add a extra £5.
Please comment on which sessions and how many trails you would like. And I will book you on.
also please pay when I have booked you on the sessions.
If you have to cancel and I don't find anyone to take your place you must still pay.
I am getting alot off people not paying then canceling. Then I have to explain they still have to pay.

This the fantastic phoebe 5 months old. The video is her 2nd trail. She has taken to trailing so naturally. Her mam was so thrilled with her. Lots off distraction at the start. But she nailed it. So chuffed fir her and Mel.

Please be aware we have got 2 dog reactive dogs in this group. So please keep your dogs away from other handlers cars and dogs. Also one human reactive dog. Please do not go up to the other dogs with out permission from there owner.

The weather is ment yo be over cast and a chance off rain. So please dress warm.

Hi. Anyone fancy doing something different with there dogs. Mantrailing is a fantastic sport for both dogs and handlers. The dog get to use there noses and Brains while you get to see your dog in a different light while it is working. You work as a team finding a person who is hiding. You will be taught every step to be success in finding the trail layer.
Any dog, and any age can trail. We have had deaf and blind dogs trail. Also dogs that are not dog friendly. We only have one dog at a time out. The sessions are up to 4 hours long. The group are 3 to 6 teams. Someone is with the cars at all times.
Also people with disabilities can take part.
I run sessions around dumfries east off dumfries. I am trained though Mantrailing Global. If you would like more information. Or would like to come to a session please ask. Paula

We had a great time trailing at daleside last weekend. Hiding in stables behind doors. The dogs found this a big challenge, but there resilience in carrying on with the hunt was brilliant to whatch. Fantastic little place to trail. Well done everyone. And especially for jane with her care in the community for us all. 😅

We had a great Sunday mantrailing at gretna. The rain stayed off. Savvie was amazing with her trails. Norman is going from strength to strength. Coping with new situations and areas. Caragh is loving the game and tried a scent article start which she smashed. Well done everyone.

Fantastic place with open fields and buildings to use. Also toilets available.
£5 extra will be added to help pay for the use of this Vue.

Sunday 20th Heathall 9.30, its an early one as I have to be some were at 2pm.

Sat 26th Crichton, 10am /2pm
Halloween themed. Using body parts as the scented articles, (not human parts) you can dress up if you want, but no face masks as they might scare the dogs. lol

Casting special day
Goal: finding the start of a trail and scent discrimination old and fresh. A talk on how the scent will move and how to distinguish between old and fresh scent. We have use of a cabin too if its wet and cold. Dogs on scented article only for this. 3 trails per dog £55. Please bring some lunch, there will be hot drinks avaible and cakes.
