One of my lovely clients is making dog beds, the one in the picture is on sale for £30 and it would fit a small sized dog like a shinhtzu, Pomeranian or chihuahua 🥰

They can be made in different sizes, but the bigger the bed, the more it will cost.. please direct message me if you would like one made for your handsome hound 🥰

Also, we still have treat jars and candles for sale in the salon 🤩🤩

Hello all CHH clients and followers, hope you are all well 🥰

Holidaybobs are over and we all had a fantastic time… 🥰 (pictures below were the highlight of our family time in Ibiza🤩💃🏿🥳)

All the hard work with the salon upgrade has been completed and I will post pictures later on today 🤩🥳

I haven’t seen the salon yet, but I’m so excited to go in today for 1pm to see it..

All that is left to do, is decor and this will take some time as we aren’t sure what we want yet.. 🤣🤣🤣

Morning all CHH clients and followers..

How are you all?

A polite reminder that CHH HQ will be closed from Sunday 4th August and will reopen on Tuesday 13th August…

This is for our final phase of the refurbishment.. 🤩💃🏿

We have been really busy over the last few weeks with the refurbishment and all work has been completed in preparation for the joiner coming on Monday 5th August…

Our painter has made a fantastic job of all the painting work and the salon is looking fab so far, it’s going to look amazing when it’s all finished.. I will attach some pictures of the changes so far 🤩

On a business point, with new clients that are coming to CHH for the new bath and dry appointments we are insisting payment MUST be made by the time of the deadline you are given to ensure you get your appointment, failure to do so, will result in your appointment being cancelled and given to someone else.. as you can imagine we have a long waiting list.. 🤩

We require prior payment with new clients that are coming to us for the bath and dry only appointment as, we have been let down several times before with people not paying or not turning up..

Also, can I remind people who come to CHH to be kind, respectful and polite to us… we, as many people are, going through life with some difficulties and we will not tolerate rude or disrespectful behaviour.. if we encounter this, you will almost definitely see a different side to us!!!

We hope you are all enjoying the summer and we look forward to seeing you all in our new upgraded salon.. 🥰

I have a few upcoming bath, dry and nail detail appointments as follows:-

🛁 Wed 17th July at 4pm

🛁 Tue 23rd July at 4pm

🛁 Wed 24th July at 4pm

🚨Please note these appointments are 60 mins max and therefore NOT suited to handsome hounds that need clipping 🚨

So short haired breeds, or regularly clipped dogs that simply need a bath and dry only.

Please don't bother messaging about full grooms on the off chance we can take you on. We are at capacity with the waking hours we already commit to grooming. We get so many enquiries we simply can't accomodate - as detailed in our auto reply! Sorry but we won't reply to each of these individually only just to reiterate what I've said here or in the autoreply...

TLDR - We don't have space for more full grooms,

DM me here and let me know which date you'd prefer. Payment is required to confirm the booking if you're not an existing CHH client.

4 weeks today, sees the start of the final stage with the upgrade/renovation at CHH.. we are sooooooo excited and can not wait.. woohoo 🥳🥳🥳

We absolutely love meeting your pooches here at Suzie’s place. So starting this July we are going to be doing a competition for your fur baby to win it’s very own hamper.

All you need to do is bring in your dog next time you visit us, we’ll snap their photo & you just need to nudge your family & friends to ‘like’ their photo! The photo with the most ‘likes’ wins the hamper!!

Winner will be announced August 1st 🐾

🛁 BATH, DRY & NAIL DETAIL 💅

This is perfect for in between full grooms after forest or beach walks...

Perhaps you're going in holiday or have special guests coming to stay and you'd like your pooch to smell less 'doggy'...

Maybe you want to get rid of of kennel odour after a stay there.

Whatever your reason, this is a perfect spruce up for small, medium - and possibly large dogs - that have a smooth, short haired coat.

OR as an in between groom refresh for those whose coats are clipped regularly.

⚠️ Please note that clipping is NOT included with this service. We are already fully booked looking after existing repeat clients for full grooms ⚠️

A Bath, Dry & Nail Detail is purely a freshen up, which includes...

❤️ Brush
🧡 Bath
💛 Blow dry
💚 Nail trim
💙 Ear clean
💜 Eu de pawfum

This is NOT a suitable alternative to a full groom for double coated dogs who aren't clipped: for example Golden Retrievers, Huskies, Chows, German Shepherds, Border Collies, or similar.

I'm not going to know too far in advance when I've got free appointments, so the first suitable enquiry to book when I post my availability will get the appointment. So keep your eyes peeled if this appeals.

If this wee trial runs smoothly, I'll keep offering it. Hell, I may even extend the booking window 😜

If it's a pain in the bahookie because folks book then cancel or worse, don't show up, I'll get fed up and stop doing it.

Life's too short for this shizzle and we've been through these shenanighans when we first opened! 🚫

If you're an existing CHH client that Claire or I look after atm, I'm happy for you to pay on the day.

If you’re new to us/go elsewhere for your regular full grooms but can't get in there in between, I'm happy to help but...

I will need advance payment to confirm the booking to minimise being mucked about...

This is the sad side of self employment in a service business

One of my lovely clients has started a new hobby and is customising these lovely vanilla scented candles, decorated with doggy themed jars… they smell and look amazing 🥰🤩

They are £3.50 each and have an average 20 hour burning time which will make your home or work place smell lovely.. 🥰

Salon upgrade is coming along nicely, we are on schedule for a complete makeover by mid August 🥳💃🏿

So we can now concentrate on posting photos of some of your Handsome Hounds that come to CHH HQ for regular pampering.. 🐶 🤩🥰

This is Brodie. 🤩😍 Brodie is one of the biggest dogs I do, but he is also one of the easiest.. he loves being groomed from start to finish and he is always a pleasure to have in.. 😍🥰🤩

Yesterday was definitely a day for out with the old and in with the new.. and boy does it feel good.. 🤩😍

Old stuff from the salon was taken to the recycle centre and a start on a much needed spring clean..

I also posted seeking a new grass cutter for CHH and within 30 minutes, the position was filled.. 😳amazing how Facebook works.. 🤩

Today the garden is looking fab, in fact it looks that good you could have a game of bowls on it 🤩🥰🤣

Thank you Stuart Walker for a speedy response to my post and a top job done today doing the grass.. 🤩

It certainly will make our life much easier at CHH 🐶 💩🤣

Hello all CHH followers..

What a glorious sunny day we have had today… 😎 hope you are all making the most of this nice weather.. 🥰

Wee pupdate since the last post in April..

Over the next few months we are giving CHH HQ a makeover.. hopefully being completed by the end of August.. 🤩🥰

This has been long overdue, but I have just never had the time to do it.. 🙈

So far, we have installed new energy saving lights in the front and back salon..

Replaced the two chairs as the old ones were past their best, but they did us well considering it’s almost 9 years since we started at CHH…

Replaced coat hooks in toilet area and a brand new toilet roll holder 🥳🤣

We are now using a new line of shampoos and colognes.. (see attached photo) and we plan to place an order in the very near future, to allow us to sell the colognes to all our customers 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Still to happen in the next few months, new wooden back door, hygiene pvc wall covering throughout the salon, painting of inside and outside of the salon and a black out blind for the big front window..

Woohoo.. 🥳 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿
