Paw Tracks Dog Walking Countryside walks in the Dunbar area Welcome to Paw Tracks! I am CRB checked, fully insured and have a Pet First Aid Certificate.

Having previously been located near Edinburgh, I have recently moved to Dunbar. :)

I can provide a professional and friendly service tailored to meet the needs of your pets. With over 20 years experience of working with and owning dogs as well as working with a variety of other animals (even bears!), you can rest assured that your pet will always be in the safest hands. I currently also run Paw

Skills Edinburgh where we hold a variety of weekly classes, from puppy class to advanced and tricks. I have passed the Think Dog and Think Dog Advanced Certificate from the Centre Of Applied Pet Ethology and the Human/Canine Interface course from the Animal Care College. I am also a member of the Pet Professional Guild which supports force free training. Dog walking can be booked in 1 hour slots, as well as puppy let outs and cat and small animal sitting. For the first time ever, I'm going to cancel walks due to weather! 😢😬

I think it's just going to be too windy tomorrow. It's really hard to open the van doors without them catching in the wind and slamming back, it won't be much fun in exposed areas, but too dangerous in wooded areas.

So unfortunately I'm going to cancel walks tomorrow. 😢💨

Hi guys, I'm going to keep an eye on this, I don't fancy driving around in 70 mile an hour winds in the van. 😬

I very very rarely cancel due to weather, to be honest, the dog usually don't care what the weather is like and as long as they are happy I'm happy to walk.

But if this stays the same, I might have to cancel second walk on Friday and just do an early morning walk around 8:00 a.m. before the winds pick up too much. I'll keep anyone in the loop for changes if they are affected. 🌬️💨

It brightened up a wee bit for our last walk of 2024 🥰

It's been a bit of a difficult year, Novak's foot issues that went on for months, several dogs who had to stop walking because they reached an age where they couldn't manage it anymore, and then losing Loki and Nova who both went to rainbow bridge. 😢

I've often been stressed this year, it's not always easy being single and self employed with a sometimes unreliable income and I have at times this year thought about giving up.

But... We've made it through to the end of the year, a bit soggy and windswept but still standing 🤣

All the dogs are excited to get to their walk, some of them express it more vocally than others. 🤣 I tried a bit of classic FM to chill out the gang and hope they might be more patient but it didn't work very well. They just kept shouting drive faster!! 🤪
