Due to unforeseen circumstances Highland Wagyu are currently looking for a full time Stock person to join our team looking after our evolving Wagyu herd here in Perthshire.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of cattle, have great cattle stockmanship skills, be tidy with an attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team.

You should be able to demonstrate the following qualities: Honesty, Reliability, Commitment, motivation, ability to look and plan ahead and have a good sense of humour.

An attractive package including good quality accommodation and a competitive salary will be covered at time of interview.

Highland Wagyu have some export and domestic embryos for sale from some of our foundation sires.

HW Carra, (pictured below) comes from the famous Fukutsuru, a line-bred bull to two of the most famous Japanese Wagyu, one of these being the Hyogo cow. ‘HYOGO’ is the area of genuine Japanese KOBE beef. Carra’s dam, Kinu B199, comes from Yukiharunami known for his fine marbling, which is a desired trait for Wagyu producers.
