Our lush grass at the playground has been CUT! We know how much dogs love a long grass sniffing game but it's nice and neat again. A beautiful day to sit, sip some coffee, spend some safe quality time with your dog, and enjoy the PEACE 💚🤍🌳 As much a joy for you as your dog!

We've been told that a professional dog walker is using the Playground without booking a space and has unfortunately stolen some slots from people who have booked honestly.

If this happens to you, please do take photos/note details of the van, and get in touch with me ASAP so I can stop this annoying behaviour !

Sorry about the delay folks. We are having a health issue with one of our own dogs at the moment and need to focus on her. If anybody can recommend a joiner who can possibly do the work for us, that would be great. Obviously, much of that would depend on how much it costs. 🥲🥲 We're trying our best, soz 🥲🥲

It's only £10 for 1 hour 10 mins, the playground is just outside Dunblane, super easy to access, and super easy to book online via my website 👍

Until I'm walking again (which won't be long with Teddy growing up so quickly!) The Playground will be available to HIRE! 🎉

A reminder 🌠 The Playground is a very large green space, in a very easy to access location, on quiet farmland, less than 5 mins drive from Dunblane! There is parking, and best of all... Wide open space for your dog(s) to enjoy! It's perfect for 🐕‍🦺 puppy training, recall training, fun, a catch up with friends and their dogs in a nice private space. Look at this cute (muddy!) gang! Oski was in the background doing Oski things! 💜
It's the literal impossible task trying to find an 🌟empty🌟 walk at the moment! Sheep everywhere as lambing is imminent 🐑 and the nicer weather meaning livestock in almost every field 🐐 not to mention everyone outside enjoying their well needed strolls in the beautiful countryside 🏞️
We are a loud, noisy, messy lot 🐶 (plus adorable!) , and in our attempt to find a space we can explore safely, we are forced to go further and further afield... Literally! And today it was beautiful, we had a blast.... But look at that mud 😅 ah well, they say muddy is the new pretty 👀

A bit of a different post today.

I thought long and hard about posting this, but in the end I decided its important.

On a walk with my dogs (4 very well behaved wonderful dogs) I was unfortunately a victim of intimidation and abuse by 2 full grown men, in huge tractors and trailors, driving on the path I was using for walking my dogs.

To cut a long story short, from a distance, we were driven towards, at speed, with their horns down and honking the whole time. Once they reached us (I had leaded and moved way off path into moorland, in a panic, wondering what on earth was going on) they stopped, got out, shouted and swore, (complete with hand gestures!) with their issue being where I had parked my van. That's it.

I unleaded my dogs and my legs shook all the way back to the van.

I don't believe I was parked in an awkward area. However, I don't mind their point. I'd hate to be an inconvenience to anyone, and will happily find somewhere else to park should I ever have the guts to return to that walk.

What I take issue with is the deliberate intimidation. When the honking began I was 20 mins into my walk, I do not understand to what end they were honking for. My only conclusion is to deliberately frighten and intimidate me.

I've never felt so vulnerable and isolated before, just trying to do my job. It maybe sounds ridiculous and not very scary, but trust me, being there and experiencing that, alone, was truly horrible.

I'm writing this to raise awareness that this type of event (though extreme) happens to dog walkers regularly.

I want people, other walkers, dog owners, etc, to be aware of this walk (dm me if you're worried about where) and the behaviour you may encounter.

These paths are for everyone, responsible dog walkers included, and no one should ever be so intimidated that they are scared to do their job, as I am feeling, for the first time since I began.

Day at the playground tomorrow, everyone is happy to see us out there 😊
