Happy 4th Birthday Harris 🍰🎂.

Still snowy out at my walks 👐.

It's taken me 4 days, but I think I've figured out the camera settings for the snow. Just in time for it to melt.

Friday!

First day of being back to two walks since before Christmas. I was struggling a bit with the after effects of the lurgy, had to take the hills pretty slowly. There had been a wee skiff of snow last night so the walkling was lovely though.

First walk with Bailey, George, Harris and Murphy. Apparently George has been moping about, since he has been off for two weeks being the center of attention and eating loads of turkey 🙄, so hopefully he enjoyed being out with his pawpals again. It was good to get my wee front seat co-pilot back.

For the second walk it was out with Annie, Baba and Fergus. Fergus likes to greet me by jumping up on my shoulders, licking my face and then having a bit of a wrestle. During today's wrestle, he decided to headbutt me so hard on the bridge of my nose that I almost blacked out and now it's nippy wearing my glasses 🤦‍♂️.

Monday! (I Think)

First walk back after Christmas and I took out Annie, Baba, Bailey, Harris and Murphy.

Was a pretty chilled walk up the hill as I had no tiime constraints today, which I good because I seem to have caught a Christmas lurgy.

There was a bit of wind, but not too bad and it stayed dry at least.

Tuesday!

Another consolidated walk on Christmas Eve with Annie, Baba, Fergus, Harris, Jack and Murphy.

It was quite a nice day for our final walk before Christmas and the dogs had a great time on the hill.

Friday!

Sorry it's a late post, I've had a busy weekend.

Just photos from the first walk with Bailey, George, Harris, Jack and Murphy.

George was being a grumpy old man this walk, so it was up to Murphy to play with Jack.

Then we had a Christmas jumper photoshoot which, as you can see, Murphy was ecstatic about 😂

Wednesday!

A much better today, even saw some sunshine, although it was a bit breezy. I took Fergus, George, Harris, Jack, Murphy and Reggie on the first walk.

I had Annie, Baba, Floyd and Stormy on the second walk, but by the time I'd got through the roadworks and Christmas traffic, it wasn't really worth taking the camera out.

Dull and wet today. Two full groups for the first time in a while as all the irregulars joined on the same day.

Had to take a torch out for the second walk. It wasn't as dark as the photos show, but got to a very dim twilight.

Monday!

A quiet walk to start with Bailey, George and Harris. We briefly met our pawpals from Patch Pets which let George engage in his new favourite game - wind up any Collie he meets by running around erratically.

George and Harris have known each other from very young, but they don't really play in larger groups. Probably just as well because they are like brothers and play a little too hard 🙈.

Scottish gas had coned off my drop in so had to nip round them, the a two mile round trip to get 100m away from the house to pick up Alfie.

Then up the hill with Annie, Baba and Stormy for a cold, windy walk. Not much light, but only 5 more sleeps and the nights start getting longer again 👐.

Thursday!

Warmed up a bit today but felt colder, especially in the wind.

First walk with Bailey, George, Harris and Marnie. Marnie even managed to get Bailey to play a little, which is unusual for him.

Second walk with Alfie, Annie, Baba, Floyd and Harper. The start of the walk was busy with people and dogs today, then the light dropped fast, so I didn't get too many photos.

Normal service has resumed. Annie is out of her season and my schedule is back to normal.

Two walks of 4 today. Fergus, George, Harris and Murphy in the woods for the early walk. Alfie, Annie, Baba and Stormy up the hill for the later walk.

Managed to get to the second walk early enough to grab some photos.

Last day of the all boy walks as Annie is out of season now, so we went to the beach for some fun.

The beach echoed to the refrain of "Fergus! Fergus Drop! Fergus Don't eat that!" as I remembered why I don't take Fergus to the beach.
