Just a reminder to wash your dogs feet after walks at the moment to keep them safe from ingesting any of the salt and antifreeze, this can also leave your dogs paws and skin irritated and sore.
With the snow and ice expected the roads may well be gritted, if you walk your dog on gritted roads/paths please make sure that their paws are washed either by walking them through a few puddles away from the gritted surfaces or by dipping their feet in fresh water once at home. Every year hundreds of pets throughout the country become seriously ill and in some cases die because of the rock salt and antifreeze being used during the cold snap. Dogs and cats walk through the substances left by gritters trying to clear roads and car drivers defrosting their windscreens and then licking them off their paws. Consuming rock salt can cause dehydration, liver failure and pancreatitis, while antifreeze contains the chemical ethylene glycol, which can be lethal when ingested.

Hi everyone that's me officially passed my assessment and I now have my badge in canine body language ☺️🐾
Over the next couple of weeks I would like to work with some dogs to gain more experience on training.

Today's a sad post as I post awareness of the tragic loss of Adam watts.
I have known Adam for a good few years and have gave him a hand with the dogs from time to time.
Adam was an amazing caring man and worked hard for all the animals in his care. He was also an amazing father and I'm heart broking for his boys.
There is a go fund me page to raise money towards helping out his boys and I would appreciate every donation possible.
You will be missed by many and I'm still in shock that your gone, I don't think its sunk in yet.

So today I went on a pack walk with ghost to get him used to being around loads of dogs🐾🐶
He done amazing and he even got off lead for the first time 🥰
Its begining to look alot like Christmas ☃️🌲

He's a tornado but getting better every day.
