Next up on our dental stories is little Jet 🖤

Jet fractured his carnassial tooth after chewing on a buffalo horn. He came in to see our vet Claire who removed his fractured tooth and it has healed beautifully! 🦷 Jet is no longer allowed buffalo horns to chew on and instead enjoys a snack on his lickimat or his Kong toy- much safer alternatives for his teeth 🦷 🐾

As February is dental month we thought we would share some dental stories 🦷

First up we have the gorgeous Osha 😻 Osha unfortunately slab fractured her carnassial tooth after chewing on a nylabone toy. Thankfully her owner is super observant and noticed straight away so Osha came in to see our vet Alistair and had her tooth extracted 🦷 Osha was a star patient and behaved very well ⭐️♥️

Please be careful when allowing your dog to chew hard chews/toys as there is a risk of tooth fractures. If you can’t bend the chew/toy slightly or indent it with your fingernail then it is likely too hard for your dog to safely chew🦴

Fabulous Freddie in for his boosters last week 🩺🐾

Freddie used to be extremely nervous of the vets and he worked with our RVN Brogan for a while to overcome this fear! Freddie graduated from Fear Free clinics last year and has popped in a couple times since then for refreshers. Freddie was an absolute star for his vaccines this year, all the hard work has paid off. Well done Freddie 🐾♥️

Beautiful Boo Boo has been coming to our Fear Free clinics as he was very nervous at the vets. Boo Boo has made massive progress in his few sessions and has overcome his fear. He was recently vaccinated and had a full health check and was an absolute superstar! Well done Boo Boo, we are so proud of you 🐾🩺♥️

Put your paw in the air if you’re a good boy 🐾

Gorgeous Dingo has been coming to see our RVN Brogan to work on his reactivity at the vets. Dingo has had only 2 sessions and made massive progress already. Dingo got his vaccine today without a muzzle and he was the perfect patient! We are so proud of Dingo’s amazing progress and Brogan is very happy to have another new best friend 🥰 🐾
