2025 is fast approaching and I would just like to say a massive thank you once again to my wonderful, loyal clients and to everyone else that continues to support my growing business. Thanks to each and every one of you, past and present for keeping me busy and fully booked for almost the entire year. It has been a pleasure to look after your pups, cats, horses, reptiles and everything in between and I look forward to seeing them all in the New Year.

Enjoy a tiny snippet of a wonderful year (that my phone made). Hopefully everyone was included in it 😅

Merry Christmas for tomorrow to all of my clients, followers, friends and family who have supported me and my little business all year 🎄🎁🎅 (and if not Merry Christmas then Happy Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or just Happy Wednesday!)

I hope every one of you has a wonderful time over the festive period and I hope all your pups made it on to the 'nice list'! (I'm sure they did!)

Christmas and the turn of a New Year can often be a difficult time for people, so if this is the case for you then I hope you know that you're not alone ❤️

Thank you so much to all of my wonderful clients for your continued loyalty and support, I have loved getting to know you and your pups, cats and everything else and it has been such a pleasure to look after them all. It is such an honour to be trusted with them and I endeavour to continue to provide the best possible care for all of your furbabies going into the New Year 🐶🐱🐾

Wednesday Walkies 🐾

Bella had a wee trip to the park today to play with the kong stick and have a good wander round. She's had a busy few days at her Granny & Grandads though so she was a bit tired. We just went at her pace and she was quite happy 🥰

Kali was back for a walk this morning much to my delight! We had a nice walk our usual route and she was loving having a wee skip about, lots of sniffs and chasing pigeons! 😅

Benji went to the park this morning, he always likes to try and make me late by dragging me back to every fence post, stick, tree and gate to have a real good sniff! Then fleeces me for treats on his afternoon visit 🙈

Clover & Heather had a lovely sunny stroll down the water front and shingle beach, they love sniffing about whats washed up on the shore and luckily we mostly managed to avoid other dogs so the pups were nice and relaxed 😊

Douglas had a walk down the burn, we played find it games and practised some engagement, he still pulls a lot when he is interested in something but it is so much easier to get his attention now and he will walk to heel when asked to. Very good lad! 👍

My last walk was cancelled so that meant I could take advantage of the remaining daylight and go for a wee mini adventure with my three. They loved exploring a new walk, we didn't come across a single soul and now I have three happy, sleepy pups 🩵🩷💜

It was Clover, Heather and Bellas last walks today until the end of January so we wish them all the best for the festive period and we'll see them in a month! It was Kali's last walk for the year too but we hope to see her again when we return to work at the beginning of January 🥰

A soggy Tuesday ☔️

Murphy was a very good boy on his walk this morning, we headed to Clatto and explored down the farm track with lots of interesting sights and smells. Isn't Murphy just the perfect poser? 📸

Douglas had a wee wander down the burn. It seriously stinks of fox down there and Douglas loves following his wee nose to try and find them! That is, when he's not barking at me for treats 🦊

Jasper and I went off to the beach and because it was a bit rainy there was hardly anyone there! Perfect for clearing the head and having some nice relaxed play time 🐶

Poppy & Finn started off quite keen for their walk but as soon as the rain got a little heavier they definitely regretted their decisions! Poor Finn is getting on so well but he doesn't feel quite the same about walks since his time in hospital ❤️‍🩹

Gatsby was treated to a wee bit of freedom at Northbank for his last walk of the year. He had a great time sniffing around and having a wee trot about while investigating the sheep before we had a play with the ball. The speed on him! 😲

And that was Poppy, Finn, Gatsby & Murphy's last walks of the year. We hope they all have a wonderful Christmas & New Year and can't wait to see them all again in January 😁❤️

Lovely Luna 💕

A Sunday evening visit to returning client, Luna. Luna is a beautiful older girl who has diabetes and needs daily insulin injections to keep this under control. Due to her health issues she is also partially sighted but definitely doesn't let that stop her! Her mum and dad do a great job of keeping her weight down and having her on a nice healthy diet too 😊

Luna is such a sweetheart and just loves attention. She is a little worried for getting her injection but takes it so well and never holds a grudge afterwards ❤️

All the boys this Thursday 😍

Moss had fun on his village walk today, we practised being calm around the horses, passing other dogs and walking to heel and he did very well when he wasn't trying to pull me into bushes after a scent 🤣

Frankie got zoomies in the frosty park and was full of beans on his walk! When we got home he grabbed his wee teddy and went looking for mum and dad 🥹

Jasper is such a pro poser, isn't he handsome! We played some sniffy games and he loved his wee sniffari, ignored other dogs passing for it and focusing on the fun ❤️

Archie is starting to hate me I think when I pick him up at 9am 😅 he toddles round quite politely but I'm sure in his head he is day dreaming about a cosy bed 😆

Benji just had a wee afternoon visit today, full of beans and up for a wrestle as always. Today he made me hold his benebone so he could chew it 🙃

Gatsby had a walk at the park, it was lovely and quiet and no one disturbed us so he picked a fight with a crow instead 🙈

Last pet sit for Atlas & Sparta on Monday night before they go off to live the American Dream across the pond. Good luck to them and their mum and dad for the next chapter. It's been a pleasure to look after them from time to time and we wish them all the best. No more muzzle and restrictions for this gentle giant ❤️

What a beautiful day 😍☀️❄️

Clover & Heather got treated to a wee trip at Unleashed Dog Park. At first they were loving the freedom, climbing on the equipment and tearing about but sadly the bangs from Barry Buddon were so loud and it really frightened Heather. She managed to keep going and still have some fun but wasn't as relaxed as we'd hoped. Such a shame. A wee warning for any really noise sensitive dogs ❤️

Benji enjoyed a little wander this morning and met his wee neighbourhood friend which he's always very excited about. He was very good today and hasn't destroyed the Christmas tree so far when being left 🎄

Frankie had a nice wee walk up to the woods, he wasn't particularly keen on the frost, even with his cosy jumper! But he met a little spaniel puppy who he was very keen on so that cheered him up! 🐶

Douglas had a lovely nature walk, he really took his time today and got all the sniffs. We saw a heron, buzzards and a pheasant and Douglas was none the wiser 😅

Gatsby went for a beautiful sunset walk to Camperdown, we had the place all to ourselves and took our time exploring. He loved sniffing about, hearing all the weird and wonderful noises from the zoo, and we even saw a little family of deer in the woods 🦌

Tuesday Exploring 🐾

Gatsby got the golden hour walk today and it was beautiful in the countryside with a fresh frost just setting across the fields. It didn't stop Gatsby from exploring though! Wee Face was happy to be inside on her cosy blanket enjoying the peace and quiet 🐶🐱

Poppy & Finn enjoyed a wee wander now that Finn is almost back to his oldself! All his stitching and tubes are out, he just has to build back his weight and work on his confidence again after such an ordeal. He can do it 💪

Bella and Jasper had fun on their adventure to Monikie. They completely ignored each other the entire time 😅 Bella likes to wander ahead and pretend she doesn't know us, while Jasper likes to stick by my side in the hopes he'll get more treats 🙈

And Douglas got a trip to his favourite park so he could run about like mad! We also worked on some recall and played 'find it' games when he wasn't smashing through icy puddles and tearing about the place! 🐕

A wee quiet Tuesday since there was no Kali 🥺

Happy Monday 😍

Hugo enjoyed a solo walk up to the park to have a wee kick about. He is so playful and loves to chase a ball but hates to give it back! 🥎

Kyrah had a wander past the stables and paddocks and was so good, not one bark despite a nosey foal coming to have a look at her. She had a wee run about with the ball at the park afterwards too and loved it, still moves like a pup! 🐕

Murphy had a trip to Camperdown today and loved having a good sniff round the trees, playing find it with treats in the grass and chasing the ball. He got a bit of freedom on the longline and we also worked on recall around other dogs, he did great! 🐶

Douglas had a wander down the burn, passed dogs very well and had a great sniff about. Worked on some heel work on the way back and he did very well! 😊

Archie had a walk at his favourite place today, so nice and peaceful but he's not a fan of the cold and kept trying to pull me back in the direction of the car 🤣

And now I'm settling down for a night in with Atlas & Sparta, my last one before their big move ❤️

Today was my last official day of walkies with the wonderful Kali. But don't fret! I will see her for one more little adventure next weekend to say my goodbyes! And if things don't go to plan with the move than I may have extra time, but we won't get our hopes up 😏

For our last morning walk we went to Slessor Gardens where she loves to have a little skip about, she got very playful and started trying to "play" bite and pick up sticks 😅 she is so funny and so full of character 🤣

This afternoon we headed to the V&A and visited Heathers Street Food for the last time where she got a treat and was absolutely raging that she wasn't allowed a bit of donut 🙈

And tonight I will be pet sitting with her one last time ❤️

Moss had a lovely village wander in the sunshine, he was happy to get a fuss from neighbours and enjoyed having a sniff about, he was great passing barking dogs and very focused today! 💚

Benji wasn't much up for his walk today, he just wanted to play with the crows and watch people go by 😅 he was more lively in the afternoon, up for lots of play and trying to mug me for treats!

Jasper and I had a nice quiet countryside stroll. They've out cows over our old walk so we explored other paths and didn't bump into anyone which was great despite it getting a bit cloudy and cold! 🌫

Poor Gatsby got caught in the rain and he hates it! Half way round he was demanding to be picked up but he did enjoy a wee sniff about and got on with it eventually despite it being dark and rainy. Look how cute he is in his wee towel 🥰

Wednesday Wanders 🐾

Archie was up with the sun this morning despite trying to run back to bed. The beach was so peaceful and we had a beautiful little walk 🌅

Benji didn't mind the cold and had fun crunching through the leaves and sniffing at everything. He was super playful for his afternoon visit too but he is always trying to fleece me for treats 😅

Moss and I went to explore Piperdam for a wee change. The sighthound in him really came oit when he saw a squirrel across the car park and all the way up a tree 🐿

It was a bit dreich for Frankies walk but he enjoyed himself nonetheless, and was nice and cosy in his coat 🥰

Douglas had a mad time at the park, sniffing and running and being a good boy 😊

Gatsby was back after a couple of weeks off and we had a nice stroll at the park just as it started to get dark. He really takes his time to sniff around every inch of the perimeter 😅

Finn 💙

I've been meaning to put this post up since last week. Just a wee note about what poor Finn has been going through!

Sadly, Finn snaffled something he shouldn't have on a walk and very quickly became sick. He had to go to his own vet and have surgery to try and solve the problem. Unfortunately, when he came round he continued to vomit and they discovered that he had a bone lodged in his oesophagus.

He was rushed to the Dick Vet in Edinburgh who were unfortunately unable to remove the bone with a scope and had to do another major surgery by going through hsi chest to reach his oesophagus and finally remove the bone.

The outlook for Finn was very poor and he ended up spending over a week in the Small Animal Hospital, most of which was spent in ICU on lots of painkillers and with a feeding tube directly into his stomach to allow his oesophagus to rest.

Finn is now recovering well at home, he's had his feeding tube removed and is doing quite well, eating and keeping things down, getting back to his usual self and demanding treats. He still has a ways to go, a lot of weight to build back but he's on the right path.

Luckily his wonderful owners are insured, however vet costs are incredibly expensive, especially when referred to a specialist and kept in ICU for days. They have a lovely friend who has set up a Go Fund Me to help with Finns vet bills, which paid to provide his life saving surgery and treatment, given to him by an excellent team of vets, nurses and ACAs. He's such a good boy 💙 if you see his photos with a muzzle on now it's to stop him scavenging so it never happens again ❤️

Tuesday's Pups 🐾

Bella & Jasper headed down to Broughty Ferry Beach. We did have some unwanted attention from dogs but these two handled it well and we kept to ourselves. They are such a dream to walk. We even saw a seal! 🦭

Benji had a wee extra Tuesday walk which I was delighted with. He was a bit excited about other dogs today but too cute to argue with 😅

Kali enjoyed a lovely morning walk, only shouted at me once and tried to start a fight with a chihuahua but otherwise it was nice and peaceful 😂

Frankie had his big coat on for a walk round Clatto and loved showing it off to everyone we passed. Doesn't he look handsome? 😍

Finn is getting better by the day and was even shouting at me for treats which was so nice to see! Poppy was happy with a wee game in the garden and play time in the house for a change today as sometimes she's not the biggest fan of walkies! 🐾

Douglas had a wee local walk and even met a wee cat who he was very good with, passed without a fuss and no barking. He's a gentle soul 💙

What a beautiful and busy Monday! 🐶

Murphy started the day with a walk to Clatto where we had the place to ourselves. He had lots of sniffs and loved exploring around the reservoir and woods. He particularly enjoyed squirrel watching! 🌲

Benji went to the park and wanted to make friends with a crow that was definitely not interested. He was full of beans again at his afternoon visit and always up for a play. Look how floofy he is just now 😍

Kyrah went out on her own today and we walled past the yard and stables and saw lots of horses. She was great until one got a little friendly and she had a wee bark so we took sometime at a safe distance for her and just watched without reacting and she did great! ⭐️

Hugo and I went a wander round his local paths and managed to not bump into anyone so it was a lovely peaceful walk and Hugo was loving having some time to stop and sniff while on a solo walk 🐽

Frankie had a wander up and round the woods. Ae met a couple other dogs ans I think he may have fallen in love with an English Bulldog that was particularly interested in him 🥰

Douglas was raring to go for his walk this afternoon and he had a great run at the park at golden hour with lots of recall practise and 'find it' games 🐾

Moss went off to the woods for his lunch time wander, he was a very good boy passing other dogs and he had a great time sniffing about in the bed of leaves. We even practised some 'paws up' for posing and he did great! 📸

And finally wee Archie had a little adventure at the park. He was jogging most of the time (to beat the cold I think!). It was nice and quiet but getting dark so his high vis certainly came in handy! 🔦

Thursday Walkies and time to announce some sad news 😔

Beautiful Kali is leaving the Wolf Trax Walkies gang to live out her dream living next to a Highland beach somewhere far away. I'm so gutted and dreading having to say goodbye but we have a few walkies left, a wee pet sit and an extra adventure so I'm looking forward to that. Today she was her usual sassy self, always demanding treats and throwing strops 🩵

Jasper enjoyed a run at Dawson today, and was a very polite boy when a Golden Retriever came to say hello. He's such a gentleman 😍

Moss had a wee run at Northbank as I've done something to my shoulder and wanted to limit any fuether damage 😅 he was quite happy about it and loved tearing about the frosty field! ❄️

Benji had his big coat back on today for a nice slow sniff in the frost and some play time in the afternoon, he's the sweetest 💙

Archie was not happy to be taken from his cosy bed and thrust into the cold evening air but he got on fine on his walk and had a wee trundle through the leaves quite the thing 🐾

And thats a wrap for this week. Off to ice/heat pack my shoulder and hope for a full recovery over the weekend while ai cry about Kali leaving 😅
